DO NOT USE THIS APP
Downloaded the app because my SIM card told me I could use it to upgrade my data plan. My brastel data ended without warning when I was away from WiFi. Thought I could use this app to immediately up my data. The whole point of the app is for the convenience right? NOPE. The only way to buy additional data is to purchase credit via PayPal that you then use to buy additional data. Now 12 hours later after paying 30 USD via PayPal there is no credit in my account even though it clearly states it’s supposed to take 5 minutes. This app is a joke - you should upgrade your data at a Lawson or buy a new sim card when yours runs out. This app is hot garbage. Don’t make my mistake.

Brastel sim top up fail
After purchasing the Docomo Brastel SIM card in Tokyo for data usage it only worked after installing some additional software off their website. When I went to top up I decide after reading their literature to download the 050 free app and do it via the website which seemed very easy. The payment went through and I received confirmation of payment but NO Credit has yet been applied to my account!!! 3 days later and no reply from my emails, no credit, no refund and heading home today!
