Worst app ever
This is the worst, most unusable app I ever had the pain of having to deal with. Horrible. I just got a second SOLO light and want it to use the same setting as the first one. Sounds easy, you would think … no. Not possible. If their lights weren’t so good I would send them back just for this!

The app doesn’t work and now my plants are dead. Do not buy their products.
Updates broke auto lighting
The latest update wiped out my presets. That’s unfortunate but understandable since I was using guest mode. What isn’t acceptable is that the auto mode no longer works after the update. I bought this light to be able to set schedules and not worry about it. I was able to do this for several months until the latest updates, please revert them or fix it.

This app worked good enough prior to the recent updates. However now I would not recommend.

The app is currently broken, instantly crashes when opened, basically someone should sue
Update Problems
Over all I like the app but being a new user I did not appreciate the recent update which erased my presets and don’t like the new layout. Originally I took a photo of my tank to use as a thumbnail for the light in the app which I liked but why would you reduce features and during an update and cause all the presets saved to be erased. I would have promoted the light but now will be a little cautious before doing so and makes me rethink of buying more which was my plan.

New update broken
No longer can pair with light the newest update broke the app
New Release
New release wiped out all my settings. Had to reset everything up and lost features on the new one. It doesn’t hold the sync with Bluetooth and doesn’t hold commands. For example when you manually open lights come on but when you hit apply to hold the program it turns them off. I was so happy with the lights before this update. Now I will be shopping again on Payday.

Waste
Auto update on the app, now I can’t pair the light. Tried everything it just can’t find it anymore since update. Since there are no physical buttons to at least turn it on and off, the product is being thrown away. I’m not reaching behind my stand to turn it off and on

Update broke everything
The most recent app update deleted all of my lights, and will no longer allow me to add them via Bluetooth despite resets to both the lights and my phone.
Light scheduling stopped working
There’s no point in getting this app or buying the lights if you have to manually adjust and turn on the light every single day. So disappointed.

The idea behind the app is great. BUT!

Amazing aquarium light
Does this app do absolutely everything I need it to do without skipping a beat? 1000% the auto features are so incredible and finally allow a fully custom lighting schedule. The ramp settings are also great for transition. Is the app the most intuitive? Not necessarily, but there aren’t a ton of buttons. Just don’t forget to hit “apply” once you set a new custom schedule. Surprised by the other reviews because this level of end user control is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking all over to find.

Terrible app
I want to like this app but it keeps crashing when trying to program the light. This needs to be fixed or this light will be in the trash and I will go back to Fluval
Schedules don’t work
You can spend all the time setting a light schedule and uh.. it ignores it. Worthless.
Avoid
I’m not gonna go too far off into it, but if you want a light that works without headache and hassle keep looking. it should come with particular embarrassment the level of failure this app is. There is no customer service so good luck with all that.
