Great Improvements
Response from developer
Hi asferteibtingto, thank you so much for the 5-star review and for taking the time to share your ideas! I’m really pleased you’re enjoying My Kennel. The idea of being able to offer male dogs for breeding with other players for a fee is a really interesting suggestion, especially for expanding the genetics side of the game, and it’s something I’ll keep in mind as the game continues to develop. You should also be able to name your puppy, so if this isn’t working correctly for you, I’d really appreciate it if you could contact me using the App Support button on the My Kennel App Store page. That will allow me to get a little more information and investigate what is happening. Feedback, suggestions and bug reports are always very welcome and genuinely help me improve the game. I also have a bigger update currently in the final stages of testing, with more improvements and new content coming very soon. Thank you again for your support and for helping My Kennel continue to grow! 🐾
Has potential. I like it
I also think some type of player interaction like forums, threads, messaging, trading, etc. would make the game feel much more alive. Right now, it can get a little repetitive, but being able to communicate with other players, work on bloodlines together, breed with each other, and buy/sell puppies would give everyone so much more to do and explore.
A few smaller things I noticed.. Some kennel items, like the rug, only show as an icon rather than actually appearing as a rug in the kennel. The game freezes/glitches a little bit at times. I’ve made a couple of purchases (gems and a dog) and haven’t had any issues with those so far. Overall, I’m really enjoying it and I know the game will continue getting better as it grows and new features are added. These are just some things I’d personally love to see in the future!
Enjoyable, very rudimentary
I like it!
I’d love to be able to share some of the problems that I’ve been facing in the hopes of improving the game, so let me know if that would be appreciated, developer! By the way, the last update did significantly improve my game, and this is great for a first app. I know that I could not do any of this.
All in all, while it has sometimes been frustrating when things don’t work quite right, I’ve found myself checking in everyday and genuinely enjoying the game. I’m excited to watch it grow and improve!

A lot of potential
too many bugs
Response from developer
Thank you for taking the time to explain the problems you’ve experienced, especially after spending real money in the game. Version 1.1.4 includes further bug fixes and improvements to dog management, training, ageing and purchasing. If you still experience the selling or breeding issue after updating to 1.1.4, please contact me so I can investigate the affected dog and purchase specifically. I really appreciate the detailed feedback and I’m continuing to work on improving the game with each update.
Doesn’t work like it should
Response from developer
Thank you for taking the time to report these issues, Goldstorm02, and I’m sorry they affected your progress through the game. I’ve been working on the problems you mentioned, including dogs becoming stuck in training and puppies not ageing correctly when the game is completely closed. These issues have now been addressed in update 1.1.2, which is currently being reviewed by Apple. Hopefully, once Apple approves the update, version 1.1.2 will be available on the App Store shortly with these fixes included. This is my first game project, so feedback like yours is extremely valuable and helps me identify issues that may not have appeared during testing. I’m continuing to improve the game, fix problems reported by players and add more features over time. Thank you again for reporting exactly what was happening, and I hope you’ll give the game another try once update 1.1.2 is available.
Doesn’t work
Response from developer
Thank you for reporting this, SteamedLegumes, and I’m sorry you experienced this problem. I’ve identified an issue with the training system that could cause dogs to remain stuck in training without the timer progressing correctly. This has now been fixed in update 1.1.2, which is currently being reviewed by Apple and will hopefully be available on the App Store within the next few days. This is my first game project, and feedback from players is incredibly helpful in identifying issues that may not have appeared during testing. I’m continuing to work on improvements and fixes as they are reported. Thank you again for letting me know, and I hope you’ll give the game another try once update 1.1.2 is available. 🐾
