Overly sensitive and therefore pretty useless.
App shows all electrical activity, including cloud to cloud. Storm comes in and the app will show literally THOUSANDS of strikes, yet only a few actually hit the ground. So useless if you want to track actual ground strikes. Have found much better sites online that show only ground hits, plus the shockwave emanating from the hits.

I’ve tried a few of these type apps and this is the only one left on my phone. It just works, and without distractions.

When I click on a notification the app opens up minimized. And there is no idea of where the last lightning strike was.

Radar not working correctly
I’m at home in pouring rain and it’s not showing a thunderstorm over our area. It shows it about 15 minutes away moving away from us.
It’s really good at tracking the lightning!
Whenever there’s a lightning storm it sends me a notification and I’ll know right away when lightning is close to me

It is very helpful in locating the proximity of lightning strikes to decide when to find shelter.
Works Very Well
I’ve had this app installed and updated when updates come in for about 4 years now. Maybe longer. It always works just fine as long as you have a data plan on your phone. If you don’t have a data plan it works just fine on wifi data at home. It is a reliable app and it runs constantly on my phone and my iPad. Don’t forget to set your notification range to where you want to to start alarming you of approaching lightning. Like I said: this app works.
