Very accurate ~ potentially life saving
We live off grid in Catalonia in the Pyrenees we use this all year round to watch storms approach and gauge severity, risk and when to turn off our electrical systems%. Have relied on this for years now. Fantastic app. Pay for the upgrade.

Neither accurate, timely, or dependable
In the past year, we’ve had numerous times when we were warned about thunderstorms and lightning, and there were even clouds within 30 miles of our house.
There have been even more times when no radar echos are displayed and thunderstorms are dumping hail, and rain on us, cloud-to-ground lightning with8n a few hundred yards.
Just getting the app to work at all is par for the course.

I’m a swim instructor in Florida. Can’t stress enough how crucial reliable data is. I love this app.
Question
What lightning detection network or data provider supplies the lightning-strike data displayed in My Lightning Tracker Pro in the United States? Specifically, does the app use NLDN/Vaisala, Earth Networks, Blitzortung, another detection network, or a proprietary/aggregated source? We are evaluating the app for organizational occupational-safety use and need to understand the data source, typical latency, detection type, and location accuracy.
