Bad design and support
Your malicious helpdesk operator did not respond in 1hr and deliberately not end the chat on your stupid app. I can’t close the chat session to start a new one because your app doesn’t have that function. Is your app designed to put off complaints?

The app will not send you a notification to ask you stop subscription of any free product. After the free period, they will charge you directly, I wish M1+ can take action on this matters. Very bad user experience.

Updating Credit Card details is useless
My card is expiring and after receiving the new card, to update the details is totally a disaster. After all the processes completed with bank token approval performed 4-5 times, it still doesn’t work and still prompt me to enter details again.
What kind of app is this? So stupid isn’t it? This scenarios to update card details isn’t something new or unthinkable and yet the app is not able to handle it seamlessly. Even if app option doesn’t work, at least make available this function on website. But even this is not possible. So don’t pay can or not?

Forces you to update the app before you can do anything even overseas
To do anything in the app including checking daily data passport roaming, you must be on the latest app version. This is user hostile. I supposedly had data passport enabled but it didn’t detect when I landed in Vietnam. And I can’t check because I can’t use the app, because an update was released two days ago. Wifi at overseas airports is slow and can take hours for an 80MB download, so I was left without a connection and with no way to check the subscription. I gave up and used Saily instead for data roaming, and will never use data passport for business again, it’s convenient but not reliable. I eventually got the roaming text hours leaving the airport.

No network connection in buildings
For more than 10y of M1 user, recently changed Bespoke Sim-only plan 12Gb to Bespoke Sim-only plan 150gb because they cost roughly the same. End up, what I get is frequent network disruption 5G to 4G and keep losing the network while in building and when MRT passing tunnel. I tried to call 1693 for help in the building, obviously it lost network while talking to the help support. So, I find a place outside building to make the call to helpline again. Well, standard procedure the technician asked me to check my phone setting bla bla bla. Yet, still doesn't resolve the networking issue in building and MRT. Then technician respond to me that nothing else they can do. They are not even trying to help.

Cannot Unsubscribe from fonecare+ pro
Went through the plan add-ons section. At the fonecare+ pro section, unsubscribe option not available. Only "request to unsubscribe". Once clicked, sent to a website that asked for phone number and ic for verification then need to go through 3 questions to convince me not to unsubscribe. Only to be sent to another page where there 2 offers, $5 grab voucher or something else or a small link at the bottom to confirm my intention to unsubscribe. When i click that, I was brought to the first page, pointing to me on going to m1 app, click plan, click add on and click unsubscribe. Went through so many loops and back at that page, i still cannot click unsubscribe. Only "request to unsubscribe again". Already fuming, i went through another cycle. Then restart my app to see if the option to unsubscribe was there. Alas, this is a SCAM. I cannot unsubscribe! Please do not fall for this SCAM. Never again M1.

Taking way too long to rectify App issue!
Till date I still cannot access all services in this App, all I get when I check with Mindy, Chat with Agent and even call 1627 on my case is “we understand your situation, as for now our relevant team, are still working on this issue, once there is update you, you will be notify and update on this case ya. 😃”
Seem like the company fails to provide a backup technical plan to fall back when such issue arises, back up solution should be provided and allow user to access all their services alternatively either via m1 website, m1 shop or customer service etc when their App faces issue!
Instead m1 kept asking user to wait/hold on till technical team rectify the issue and user cannot add ad on/ remove ad on services, change/update service plan, it’s totally unprofessional!
Empty promises on a call back from the person in-charge of raising my case!

I was billed by error for Zolaz gaming and I cannot be refunded.
