Greatest app for DVDs and BluRays
I love my physical media and I have been using Discogs to organise my Vinyls and CDs, so I decided to find out if there was anything similar for movies and Blu-ray.com is the answer. Don’t get fooled by the name, you can add DVDs too, not just BluRays!
Best free movie database
This is good, efficient way to keep track of your movie collection. It links to blu-ray dot com to pull the info so it has a wide variety of alternate/foreign editions to choose from
Better DVD support please
The app itself is amazing. The issue is that not everything is on Blu-ray and the there still isn’t a media type category for DVDs. Please add DVDs as a category! Thanks y’all!

Ease of use
So easy to load the movies and media.
Be cautious
I was in the process of uploading my dvd collection and then the app crashed… and then when I try logging back in, only 5% of what I had already uploaded disappeared. Waste of time to be quite frank.. just be aware, won’t be trying this app again.

I have been using this app for around 6 years I believe. Yes, it is basic. Yes, it is that simple. That’s what makes it excellent! Very intuitive and I have been able to keep track of my collection very well! If I had to be nitpicky I would say I would love to have dead formats more on here (vhs, laserdisc, etc.) but I still love this app.

Great app for organizing!
Excellent way to organize and keep track of my dvd, blu ray and 4k collection. The upc scanner makes it so quick and easy.
Has potential
After scanning or manually trying to enter a movie to my collection I get logged out automatically. Then I’m told to login again and it says user not found. I’ll wait 30 minutes login successfully and then try to add another movie and the same process happens. This app has a lot of potential if it actually worked. I’ve tried multiple ways to Troubleshoot. Getting close to an uninstall for me.

Slow and buggy
It is taking me most of the day to put in my movie database. It shouldn’t have took more than hours. Constantly getting connection errors. Doing bulk uploads connection errors then it tells you it’s already in your collection, but it’s not. Now you have to go in and put each one in individual individually while waiting on the multiple multiple multiple errors because apparently they’re backend server driven by a damn hamster on a hamster wheel.

Almost Perfect
I really like this app, has options to scan of manually search. However there were a handful of blu ray concert dvds that the app didn’t recognize either by the bar code or manual search. I wish I could just manually add the blu ray with the ability to import the image using the camera. I would also like the option to print out my collection. I’d even pay for those additional features. Not quite perfect, as I said.

Great app for keeping track of your movies, but for some reason, my DVDs are not showing anymore
Thank God this exists!
I’m a physical movie collector and am constantly looking out for titles to add to my collection. Problem is I kept finding myself struggling to remember if I have bought the title. If so was it 4k or bluray? This solved all that. And did it in an organized way that is user friendly. Thanks guys!

I have been using the my movies app for a few years and I love it. But I do wish I could change the size of the movies and search by genre. But still the barcode scanner saves a ton of time and almost all of my 1000 movies have art and descriptions

Great App, if it had an option to set a value for your collection and buy and sell Blu-Rays - it would be an easy five stars. Or even an option to add friends and share your collection.
Excellent and easy to use!
This is a great and easy easy to use app to log your move collection to keep track of tv and movies you buy. There are the odd tittles that may not come up but this is not common and usually for a title that is much less common as the majority of the time it finds the title when you scan the barcode or can do a search for it. Highly recommend it!
