Can’t download mobile app
I found I could sign into my account using the URL however, I could not sign into my mobile app. I deleted the mobile app and when I tried to download it again, there’s no icon on my iPad Pro. I would like to put it back in my saved RV travels folder. When I tried downloading it directs me to “open”, but not download.

Was great until last update
What happened to this app. This and Rv Parky are my go to for planning my rv trips until recently. I put all my stops in and save the route. Then try to go back into it and it’s frozen. Can’t open and try swiping down to refresh and the screen freezes. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it and it still does it. Also why doesn’t the app and website have my trips. Before I could start one on the website and finish it on my app.

Very limited cities listed
I am trying to use this app for first time to see how it works before paying money for a membership that could be useless. So far I am not going to pay any money. Trying to find a campsite near Lone Pine California. It’s doesn’t find the city. Tried their search of listed city’s for California and it show only about 25 cities total for California. Seems to be limited to only campsites that want to be on their site and not inclusive all possible campgrounds that could be a option. Does joining list all campsites? Other thing links on the app lead to no where as well. It’s is wasting my time.

Glitchy trip planner
The app is rudimentary at best and is terribly glitchy
I really like this app, but…
For the most part, this app does what I want. I can find campgrounds along my route, get brief descriptions, let’s me know in what way the campground participates, regular price and PA discounted cost, mark visited campgrounds and I can even write notes in the campground, and therein is where I seem to be having an issue. .
I write a note, and when I wanted to go back in to view it, I couldn’t. It came up to write another note. And I looked to see if I could delete the note, and can’t seem to do that either. Not sure if this is a common issue, or just me. I tried to delete the app and reinstall, and that didn’t seem to do anything.
I’m at a loss. It really liked the idea of being able to put notes on a campground as we visit so many and this would give me the chance to … well, make notes 🤷🏼♀️
Overall, it works. But the notes 📝 is the biggest negative issue I have.

Tried in fall 2022, tried again spring 2023. It just spins and spins and spins on my up-to-date iphone and ipad. So disappointed

Passport America is a great RV friend
Passport America is a great website for booking your RV sites for one or two nights you must read the whole notes section to understand what discount you think the passport America.

I don’t use it much but when I do I save money thanks to Passport America!
I really wanted this app to work…I need it.
I’m in the tech industry and VERY familiar with apps that work and those that don’t. This one does not…neither on my iPhone nor iPad. After the download it asks for your name and email to load your personified data…then the spinning wheel of death “Loading” shows up in an endless loop. I’ve waisted WAY too much time on this app trying troubleshoot it. I’ve the latest devices with the latest updates on the fastest fiber optic internet in the nation, and it’s been loading for over an hour now. It should take no-more than a second.
All my other apps work as designed…but not this one. For now…it’s pretty much useless. Too bad, as I really want it to work, and now regret even joining Passport America.

We are so glad a friend gave us a brochure for Passport America. We have stayed at Passport America campgrounds all over South and Northeast. They were great. Also, the Caravan trips and rallies are so much fun!!

Works great when available. Found as a Canadian traveling the US in winter a lot of the campgrounds don’t allow usage until after May 1.
Best accessory for any rv camper
Saved a fair amount of money while traveling and have found places that I have stayed for extended periods of time while traveling. I look at Passport America when planing my travels.
Worthwhile
Bought a lifetime membership. Paid for itself. Maybe not the premium sites, but it forces you off the beaten path to more interesting places.
Great Program & App!!
We have used Passport American for a number of years - all without any problem. We’ve had some beautiful sites (for up to two weeks for some sites). Every year our use of this program has more than paid for it. We share this program with people so much, and are always surprised when we find that a camper we’ve met that isn’t part of this RVing program. If you are on the fence about joining, take the leap… you won’t regret it!
