Just had an update for the app and it keeps reporting an error that it cannot display my car data and an unexpected error occurred. I can see the car location in the app but nothing about the car. Not a great update, hopefully just a glitch.

Awful app
Had my Renault car for a year, and the app occasionally works. I’ve just bought a Renault van and I can’t do anything with the app - I’d like to add the van to my vehicles but it’s completely stopped working. Yet again. This is just the latest in a litany of ongoing errors. I’m really surprised at just how bad the app is. If the vehicles were this bad I would not have bought the van. Also. When oh when are they going to communicate with the Ohme app? Vehicles are good and modern. The app developers are from Sinclar ZX81 days.

Faulty App
Having worked ok(ish) for the 2 weeks I’ve had the car, it now won’t let me log in, just keeps giving error messages.
Charge History shows wrong timestamps
Bug report: every entry in Charge History displays the current date/time instead of the actual time the charging session started/ended. For example, if I open the app at 2:02pm, every past session in the list shows "Today, 2:02pm" as both its start and end time — even ones that ran for hours. Duration, energy added, and battery % for each session are all correct, so the underlying charge data is fine; it's specifically the date/time field that isn't being read or displayed properly.
This is reproducible every time I open the screen — the displayed time simply tracks "now," not the session. Reported it to Renault customer service and they're treating it as a vehicle/telematics issue, but the fact that every other field in the same entry is accurate strongly suggests this is an app-side display bug, not a car or connectivity fault. Would be great to see this fixed.

The car is great. This app is useless.
Utterly unreliable
Renault gave good things going on with their EV range. I’m already on my second - I had a Megane and now a Scenic E-Tech which I love. It’s therefore a crime that the app is so completely rubbish. Half the time it simply does not work. It needs a complete overhaul with an emphasis on reliability.
no email sent
This is by far the worst car app. It never sends the code to the address, not even spam folders etc, it never connects to the megan e tech. even the renault dealer in swansea said it eas useless.
Needs Lock Functionality
Decent enough app, but needs to show the lock status as a starter and then should be able to lock and unlock.
Keeps losing connection with the car
The app and cat for some reason ‘suddenly stop communicating’ and this means you can’t care the car on any kind of set timeframe. Only on max charge which is expensive and means I have to do it in the morning because it won’t charge overnight. Doesn’t work at all well with the Ohme charging pod
What’s the point
So car says to install my Renault. Then find out after installing and registration of the car and my data that my car isn’t entitled to the services. Brand new summer 2026 car. Even an old Zoe works with this but not my new Renault 4.

Useless Renault app
Rarely shows Battery level. Logout and log back makes no difference. Ohme app cannot pair with car either as there’s no option to pair.

Stopped working. Updated. “Data sharing is deactivated”, apparently. Images in ”follow these steps” don’t match what’s displayed in my vehicle. I think Connected Services have expired, but there seems to be no way in the linked “store” to reactivate them, just a bunch of pretty pictures of vehicles I don’t own … and based on this experience, don’t want to own.

Frustrating
Works ok for a while then just doesn’t update. Paired and sharing data set up and checked multiple times. Charging history is a month out of date, charged to 80% last night. App 12 hours later saying the car is only 54% charged. Even sitting in the car with all data permissions, Bluetooth , Wi-Fi etc App doesn’t want to know. Have to rely on my Hypervolt app to check my car when it’s plugged in, otherwise only reliable way is to check the dashboard. App is about as thrilling as the 15 year old brick of a key fob

Cant get the app to connect to my car
Long wait
Functionality is ok, but the app takes ages to open, and often the changes are then reset requiring you to do them again. Opening the app to do something quickly isn’t possible, but it should be the main feature of an app.

Disappointed really. Was good when I first got the vehicle and uploaded the app. Now nothing seems to updated and the servicing is out of date.
