don’t need

this app is so stupid if parents download this on kids phone it’s like they can’t trust their child and I’m 13 years old and I hate having this app on my phone. I have an hour and 30 minutes on TikTok an hour on Roblox and 30 minutes on Snapchat, but I can’t be on Snapchat because it’s blocked. I really wish I can delete this app

Trash

This is trash, it was made from someone that doesn’t know what they are doing. It breaks your tech and messes with your WiFi. TEENAGERS LISTEN UP!!! You can hotspot your other devices and it will still work.

Don’t Download

It sucked

Just junk

Needed something to schedule wifi access so tapped the link in my router menu which brought me here. Installed the app only to find it doesn’t work with my router. What a joke.

Horrible

I want this app/service to work as Screen Time on Apple devices is too limited.

I hate this app😡

I hate this app it is crusty musty stupid and if you put it on your kids phone you are not Skibity

Can’t start

Just returns a “Could not device “error every time I try to accept the user agreement

Poorly designed and has way too many issues.

This app is poorly designed and has many issues. The way the screen time function works is poorly executed, and does not accurately reflect the time spent on the app. Since it is based off internet connection rather than time on the app itself, the time drains even when the app is not in use. Closing out the app can slow the rate at which the time depletes, but sometimes even that doesn’t stop it. Receiving a notification will result in the time for that app being used up, which is especially annoying for social networking apps such as Discord or Facebook. Not only that, but the time appears to drain in 5-minute increments. This results in the time being drained even faster. Not only that, but the filters are very inconsistent. Sometimes applications and websites will randomly be blocked or unblocked, such as Wikipedia. At random points in the day, my device will claim that the connection is not stable, yet later it will work just fine. Oftentimes the notification alerting that the user has 15 minutes left for an application does not send, resulting in further confusion for the users. Another issue is with the bedtime feature. For some reason, the Bedtime feature is set using the time on the guardian’s phone rather than the child’s. Normally this wouldn’t cause any issues, but if the child happens to be in a different time zone than their guardian, for example, if the guardian were to be on a business trip, the start and end of Bedtime would start at whatever time was set in the guardian’s time zone. This could result in the child losing internet access significantly earlier or later than scheduled. Not only that, but this also affects the time at which the limits refresh. Combined with this app’s inability to accurately measure time, this results in the time draining in the middle of the day, and then disabling apps for the next 24 hours. Use literally any other software to monitor your screen time. Just not this dysfunctional garbage. Not to mention you apparently have to pay for this nonsense? Not surprised at the 1.5 star rating.

Garbage

For a paid app you would think it would work. I’m having to uninstall and reinstall this app at least three times a week just to keep my child’s tablet covered under the child locks. your router works awesome but this app is absolute garbage

I hate it

It’s terrible not suitable for kids

Stupid trash

My parents used this app and it sadly works really well but we have orbi so it doesn’t really matter any way

This app has green cloud aura with flies around it

Please parents, do not install this app for your children. Instead, take up your responsibility as a teacher to your kids and help them learn how to navigate the internet in a better way. This is just made for strict parents that do not know how to properly handle electronics and screen time for children.

Thoughts from a teen with strict parents

This app takes takes away the little control children have over their own possessions. My dad installed this app on my phone and I am 15 years old. Apps like this are for parents that do not trust their children. I recommend that parents just teach their children safe internet practices instead of having access to everything they look at. Parents please just teach your kids to be responsible instead of sheltering them. I promise you it does not help.

Bad

This app is trash

Wish I could give it zero stars

The vpn never connects and interfers with everything. So I deleted the app of my kids iPads but then the parental controls stayed in the Apple>screen time>content & privacy restriction. In order to toggle that off you need a pin which apparently the app enabled and set. So without knowing this pin I’m screwed. Looks like I’m going to have to wipe the iPads and start over.

I don't know

It doesn't give people much freedom to do really anything

Useless!

As someone with kids...I do NOT recommend so I'll give you a rundown on why.

- slows your internet down, I've been using this for a few years now but I've seen so many changes for the worst!

- Tracks YOUR data, I've read up on this and found it sells your data which is horrible and an invasion of my privacy!

- horrible software! The app is so slow and easy for kids to uninstall, it should at least notify you if that happens.

Because of this (and more), I will be renewing my subscription thank you.

Loses your phone battery when not using

I wasn’t on my phone during the night but I had lost charge until 20%. I then lost 10% in a minute just being on the Home Screen. Imagine how fast it’ll go using an actual app.
