This app does NOT support any keyboards
You have to press on the tablet screen for the letters!! This is insane!!! Why would you make an app that does not connect to Bluetooth keyboards???
I paid $350 for the magic keyboard for iPad and every other app in the world works with it except this one. Why on earth would the developers do this??? Waste of money!!

Does not work with external keyboard!
It only gives the option of a touch screen keyboard. The whole reason I got this app is to have the equivalent of a modern typewriter experience where I can connect a bluetooth external keyboard and type. Touch screen only? Wish to get a refund!

can’t get it to work with my external bluetooth brydge keyboard, onscreen option only.
Don’t Buy (read this first)
This had promise BUT it does not work with my IPad portable keyboard. You also cannot set tabs, th e page size is fixed for a small phone screen size. This would be fine if you want to send a few lines of message on your phone BUT it is not an application to use to type anything of length. I found the description misleading and although it was only $1.99 I still feel unhappy about buying this app.

It Needs Work
It’s a nice premise for an app (and it would be nice to have a reasonably-priced alternative to some other pricier alternatives). Unfortunately, I found this app unusable.
The interface is nice, but simple. Don’t turn your phone on the side because the app seems to flip out if you do that.
Also, save often. The app crashed and I lost everything that I‘d typed; there is no autosave function.
The typewriter sound is very pleasant, but unfortunately the frustration of trying to navigate the app overshadows all the aesthetic charm.
There is no instruction about how to load a second page to type on. The link for app support is a dead link, and I couldn’t find a User Guide anywhere online. Frustrating, because who wants to interrupt their thoughts to work out how to continue typing? It actually made me angry that I paid for an app and then couldn’t use it and had to waste time trying to find some instructions. I couldn’t even see how to load up the next page to continue typing. It wasn’t a fun experience.
The first page only held one paragraph of text. Maybe somewhere there’s the option for a larger page, but I’m just over this app - it frustrates me. Another niggle: Every time you save, you need to save in a new file, which is likely to clutter things later. Exporting options are very limited.

The developers need to include a help link or some kind of documentation explaining the app’s functions because this kind of thing is just infuriating and could probably be solved in five seconds with a user guide.

Saved Canvases cut off
Loved the app for a while, but since I’ve checked most recently, all of my canvases are out of view and i can no longer see my full portion of my saved canvases, which I’d like to be able to see or at the very least, copy and paste into a new one so that I can see what I’ve written in the past. Instead I am getting half of my canvases cut out and cannot see or try to remember what the cut out portion I had written in the past had said.

Best app so far, BUT…
The sound. I love everything about this app but please, for the love of all things holy, please let us turn the sound off. Also, the ability to use an external keyboard with iPad would be phenomenal. Next update please?
Disappointing app
So disappointed that I paid for this app, the keypad isn’t synched, it won’t let me copy and paste text to convert into typewriter font, it’s an incumbency to go back and edit work as the app overwrites or misaligns when you try to edit previous lines... DO NOT PURCHASE this app, I’m sure there are better apps for free

Doesn’t Allow Pasting
Doesn’t allow pasting for previous written works of mine, which really is a bummer!
THE WORST THING EVER
Takes a lot of effort to use this app. Keyboard is not user friendly. I spent an hour laboriously typing a letter when suddenly the app crashed and I lost the whole thing. I will be contacting Apple for a refund. Total rip-off.

This is awkward and useless. Annoying sound you can’t turn off, won’t save work properly, awkward navigation. This app is probably most useful if you have something prewritten elsewhere and you type it in the app for the sole purpose of creating an image with the look of typewriter font. But it’s terrible for actually writing in and I regret wasting my money.

I was excited, and then really disappointed.
Every app that involves texting on my iPad is Bluetooth compatible...except this one. I was really disappointed. If you fix this, I’ll give you a five star. Right now, however, I feel cheated.
Doesn’t work with keyboard
The app doesn’t work with my apple keyboard. I can’t paste text into it.
Not for me
I needed something to type a letter and print it to send in the mail. This app doesn’t do that. It wants to print on photo paper and then it’s too large to fit the text. And it only lets you type one page at a time. It does exactly as a typewriter would.

This doesn’t work with a keyboard? Honestly, what’s the point? Taping on glass is never going to feel like typing. I want my $1.99 back.
Crash!!!
Halfway through writing a poem and the entire app crashed... failed to save the writing... completely lost. Great idea but needs more development. Maybe introduce different backgrounds instead of plain white... as in a crinkled up piece of paper, or refill paper to create that authentic look.
