Love and hate
Love that it’s easy to navigate through the app once you’re signed in. However, I hope they fix the signing in process because it keeps telling me to update my password even though I recently just updated it. There are also times where I have to sign in twice in the same log in attempt, not because I put in my password wrong. I sign in correctly, then when I click on “my chart” it will ask me again to sign in. I understand security is the best policy but this is a nuisance.

Keeps me in touch with my doctor and my care team
I have had this app for a few years now I never had a issue but now the UCI app is prompting me to download the MyChart app I thought the MyChart app was integrated into the UCI app so why making us download the myChart app now

I love this app. It is so easy and you can get all your medical records from different doctors who use the s app.
Uci health app
Generally speaking, it gives me the information I need in a very timely manner. It’s easy to communicate with people doctors and such. The only real issue I have is about 90% of the time it doesn’t matter whether I use biometric or name and password it usually takes about three times before it log in.

Cannot communicate with Dr & Nurse using app
This is a great app except I cannot communicate with my doctor or his nurse. I am being treated by Dr Jason Samarasena at UC-Irvine in Orange, CA for Barrett’s esophagus. Cancer was found and removed by Dr Sam. I am scheduled for another round of EGD to remove high grade dysplasia in my esophagus.

no back arrow to getback to the menu page
after going thru the appt forms there is no back arrow to getback to the menu screen

App is not intuitive
I love the staff at UCI. However, when it comes to the app - it is not intuitive nor user-friendly. I consider myself pretty tech savvy but some of the pages are missing the back button. For example, when I am in messages there is no back button. My husband figured out to tap the upper left where the back button usually is and it works. But why hide it?
Please add a back button on all pages so patients don’t get frustrated using this app.

Love the office an staff it was my first time there I got called to the back soon as I checked in an doctor Megan is just so sweet
Regarding the contacting system
It is very hard to contact on phone with the staffs for everything such as schedule an appointment, verify the insurance issues and else
UCI My Chart
My Chart is a wonderful information service. It is monitored regularly and they respond and post lab results quickly. Dr Stephen Chang is an excellent primary care physician. He writes results very clearly so I can understand them. Dr Yu Po Lee, my orthopedic doctor, also posts my xray results very timely. I really appreciate this service and their consistency with using it as a portal for getting medical information to me.
