11 years in and I still love this Diary
I have been writing a diary every day for over 30 years, but it was always a chore writing it by hand.
Since changing to this app 11 years ago it changed all that.
It’s now so easy to do, as I can write it either on my phone or iPad anywhere I am and do not need to carry a physical diary around with me.
The greatest feature is the search function that allows me to search the entire diary by word/s easily. (Something impossible in my physical diaries!)
I love how it resembles a diary, with its simple clean pages, and no brightly coloured GUI with ‘stickers’ or over complex designs.
However it does have plenty of useful settings and options.
Although I don’t use the function, you can also add other media (photos/videos) if you want.
It has full back up support and options for export in various format.
I love this app and if you just want to write a diary or keep a journal, this is the one, no need to look elsewhere.

Best journal app!
I've been using this app for 13 years. It's the best. I love everything about it. I hope it stays exactly the same. I'm so grateful that it's not subscription based and that it's crafty and handmade looking rather than a "sleek" modern look like everything else out there. Yet has all the background technical features that make it powerful and useful. Thank you!

12 years of journaling
I originally got this app in 2014 and I've loved it for over a decade! It's very charming and cute. Thank you!
What to improve feedback
Good app, I like this more than Apple Journal, but needs to 2 changes:
- Update the app for iOS 26, so that it has the nicer looking, more modern keyboard.
- Fix the glitch where if I write about my day, and then save it, it takes me back to main menu, but then if I press the entry I just wrote, and then star it to show its a great day, the star goes away after a few seconds for some reason even if I didn’t press it, and I have to star it and then close the entry very quickly after in order to keep it starred.

10+ years
Been using this app since December of 2012 wanted to journal my being days in the military ended up still using it after I got out and now I can’t see myself not using this app. It’s easy to use and very affective. Only issue I have is I can’t seem to view my entries from early on it only goes a couple years back. Don’t know if that’s because of a setting or something I’m

Love this app! This is the best gift I have ever given myself. To be able to document what’s going on in my life and refer to later! The details all of the things that I would’ve forgotten is priceless. Do yourself a favor get this app journal and you will thank yourself later.
The best writing app
This is the best app that I have used and if anyone is wanting to find a good app personal writing or to have your own diary I would use this app and it doesn’t glitch.
Great storage
It’s a great place to store messages to your friends you can copy and paste them and go over the message making it perfect . It’s also a helpful tool for when your troubled you can make notations and review it later I love this app
Bug with iCloud sync
There is a bug with iCloud sync; there is a persist pop-up window, and this pop-window prevents me from going further into the app. Therefore, the app is useable with this version. I am on the latest IOS, and the latest version of the app. Please notify me when the app has been updated or there are steps to correct this problem.

This app is great for journaling. Its format and layout are very helpful.
So Simple, No Pressure Free Flow Writing
Great daily (or as needed) Journal. One of the few apps I’ve ever paid for. My only complaint is the optional sliding face scale (😡-😁) doesn’t include any sad faces. Only various smiles, the middle being a face with no expression 😑, than it jumps right to various angry faces.
I find this very odd to not include one of the most basic human emotions: disappointment, sadness, loss/grief.

That wishing app did work in this reality and it was making real wishes then the app or the person that supported it took it out of the App Store it was working at 100% just simply it disappeared
