September 30, 2026

Fixes for small screens. • On a 4.7-inch iPhone with Display Zoom switched on, the bottom row of keys — zero, the decimal point and R/S — was drawn below the edge of the screen, and there was no way to scroll to it. The calculator now makes itself smaller to fit instead, so the whole keyboard is always on screen. Thanks to Rob for the report. • The same fix applies to the calculator beside the documentation on iPad, which could be cut off in a small Stage Manager window.

An excellent emulation of a classic calculator

This is a beautifully designed emulation of the HP 41C, 41 CV, and 41CX. The look and feel is just like the real calculator and the functionality is perfect.

Amazing

The first 'program' I ever wrote was on one of these calculators. As a challenge and over 40 years later I tried to solve Project Euler's 1st problem with this emulator... Done! Brilliant.

Works perfectly on my phone. Looks like it will run on my iPad too, although the icon seems to be different.

Best Calculator App Ever

I have used and RPN calculator since college and for years used a 41CX. This calculator is the best version I have found for running on my iPhone.

Great emulation of 41c* calculators, haven’t used it in real life, but came around to love it.

Buggy

Can't get this to work on my Mac. I have reset the app, but it will not allow me to enter anything via the keyboard, so it makes it sort of useless.
