App never connects
For six years this has only worked intermittently. Pathetic functionality
Latest update is so much better.
The last update in nov/dec 2018 is fantastic. Much more user friendly and clean, seems to just work. Finally displays temps in rooms with sensors which I was promised in 2015. All-in-all a GREAT update!!!!
Only problem is it seems that I can not fully update my tablet which requests a download every time I use the device. Will contact customer support to sort this out.

Not working through 4G
Use to be able to turn my aircon on through 4G so the house was warm and nice by the time I was home but nit working any more.. very disappointed!
Constantly difficult to connect
As per the other reviewers it is hit and miss whether the app connects from the iPhone or iPad - more often it doesn't.
Poor connection
As with the previous reviewer, the app fails to connect and takes several minutes to do so. Only by repeatedly dumping the app and reloading it fresh does it eventually work. Not very impressed.
Did they test the app before using it?

Good app...when it connects.
When this app works, it's quite handy. But more often than not, the app won't connect with the aircon.
Often doesn't work
When this App does work, it has a reasonable amount of control and I don't mind it. But as per others below, it rarely connects - maybe 1 in 5 attempts. They really need to rethink this as I would not recommend it to ANYONE in its current state.

I upgraded our air con system and paid a lot extra to get the system compatible with the My Air app - it's been a complete waste of money.
The app rarely connects and has to be closed and relaunched up to a dozen times to get it to work. Even then it still crashes regularly.
I have never been able to get it to connect remotely either. It is so bad that advertising it's "features" is nothing short of misleading and deceptive advertising.

Okay when it actually connects
Most of the time it will not connect - have been through phone support who basically got me to restart everything on wall tablet and iOS device - but same result. Have tested on many iPhones and iPads without much success. Typically takes about 5+ attempts of relaunching iOS app which is about a minute - might as well not be any use.
Also, if the app actually worked better, an interface needs improvement would be nice - firstly, support for iPad interface and, secondly, iPhone Plus model resolution.
Not very impressed with this quality of product from Advantage Air - the iPhone connectivity was an important part of choosing MyAir4.

Frustrating
Would appreciate if the remote devices connected to wifi reliably
Wifi not good
The system is very good but the wifi on the iPad does not work most of the time.
Provide Temperature On Touch panel
This has just been installed and i agree with others excellent unit that simply lacks a current temperature on the touch panel. My previous home fir 12 years had a carrier unit that had this shown. Please update the unit

My air4 review
Very nice and easy to use software
I would give 5 stars if they displayed the current temperatures at each sensor location. As from my understanding each sensor is equipped with a motion detector and a thermometer. I could be wrong but that is how it was explained to me, so each zone can be set to a different temp.
