Excellent
This is really simple, easy to use, and accurate. I'm hoping for an Apple Watch complication soon, but it's great just being able to see it in glances as well.
Does not work well
This thing does not work very well. It still has bugs! It would not sync with my phone. (iPhone 6 plus). It was not accurate, in fact I had to reboot my Apple Watch every time to get this thing to sync to my phone and give an accurate reading. While my phone would pull up the app and the altimeter would show an accurate reading however the watch would not display the correct elevation. It was only after when I would have to restart my Apple Watch would it finally sync and give an accurate reading. This would happen every single time. Nothing wrong with my Apple Watch because I sync all other apps, text messages,etc from my phone to my Apple Watch. This thing has bugs.

Barometric altimeter
As a barometric altimeter this app fails to be of much use. There is currently no way to calibrate the sensor at this time. So accuracy can be off by several hundred feet. Therefore only the GPS altimeter can be used. Not ready for prime time.
Functional and simple
Often apps display unnecessary extras. Not this app. This does exactly what it states and puts that information front and center. Locations tested have all been accurate.
Handy
Comes in handy when I am in bed and trying to sleep. I often like to check how high I am

Nice app! Simply does what it claims to do. Very useful for climbers and just for people who want to know how far they went up.

This is a very simple app . The UI is clean and simple. The add banner is not really annoying.

It's not of super importance to me or any other casual user but pretty useful for climbers. Also it's nice to know that if I want to know my altitude, there's an app for that!

Works- no frills
If you have a problem, it's your hardware. My iPhone 4 with iOS 4 has no problem with any GPS/Altitude app. Undoubtedly there are iPhones that may have hardware issues, but the 1-star reviews from their owners are not a fair evaluation of the app itself.
Works!
I used this in the mountains and the city and it agreed closely with posted altitudes. It was a little bit slower than CURRENT ALTITUDE FREE (the one with the airplane logo) but has a simpler display, something I appreciate after seeing so many apps with worse graphics than GoDaddy! Other than that either of those two free apps are keepers.

Not worth download
Downloaded app and it has never worked for me. Tried "Altitude" and it worked much better. Always received a host error and they could never find my location.
Worked as described
Was sitting at the signature bar @ john hancock tower in Chicago and just wanted an idea of how high we were.

It simply never worked. One star is too much.

Accurate up to 380m? Are you kidding? That's 1,250 feet. A 20-50m accuracy level would be more acceptable.
Great app
I used this app over a two day period that went from sea level to 9654 feet and it was extremely accurate. I think the people that say the app doesn't work are probably using a non gps enabled phone. I used it again last weekend hiking and again the elevation displayed matched the posted elevation.
