Needs to Link Accounts!
Overall, I’m happy with AOCU. However, I have yet to successfully link my account to other financial accounts, causing errors on those sites. Very frustrating as I need to see accurate and consolidate numbers. I’ve called numerous times over the years and nothing. Also, cash back credit cards would be nice. I’ve yet to be able to use any perks I’ve gained. I don’t shop at most of the places listed and I don’t travel enough to use that either.

Fraud
I’ve had a lot of problems with Fraud not all were caught or fixed
Also, I hate paying $32 per withdrawal that I’ve not been alerted for, for a low balance and it eats up all my money

Overdraft fees
Everything about Advantage one is great except for the overdraft fees. I think $32 is outrageous, especially for somebody that’s struggling. That would be the only reason why something would bounce. So they are taking advantage of struggling customers.
Scams
Every sense That happened they work with me. It seems when I was changing my jobs. They work with me on that and help me out. It’s a terrible thing happen being scammed, but you guys did what you could do you suspended a Visa payment. Just once a month I think 25 bucks which helped me out the new tab live and I hope you keep helping me. I believe you will. The reason I put a four is because a couple times my debit card was cut off when I was trying to get gas but they said it’s automatic, but they should be a little discretion. It’s embarrassing. This whole situation is embarrassing. The 65 year old struggling to pay the bills probably going to work on 100.

AOCU rates and banking services are great. AOCU was there to provide financial service for my 1st vehicle purchase.

Super easy to use. Straight forward as any banking app usually is. Alerts of when locations are closed are at the top of main screen but not an eyesore. Pretty much anything you may need is accessible from the app

depostits never go through, app is slow, and constantly logs me out. no work has been put into this app. theres no point in having a banking app of you cant DEPOSIT CHECKS on it.
No better CU
I’ve been a member since 1999 and AOCU has always been there to help me financially. Whether I was broke coming off of a bankruptcy or making six figures years later, their tellers and officers have always found me the best deal for my situation. Whether it was a car loan, refinance, credit card, savings plan, credit recovery, any thing I needed help navigating from financial experts, they have been there to make recommendations that helped my family and I on our financial journey. I recommend this CU to anyone that qualified for membership. If you’re in a tough car loan, refinance through this team. Listen to them when they recommend the gap insurance. That one recommendation saved me thousands of dollars when I needed it the most. They have helped guide me from a credit score in the low five hundreds to over 800. This is a team with their members best interests in mind.

Great Credit Union
I’ve been with Advantage One Credit Union for a few years now. Though my account is considered “newer,” because I ran myself unknowingly into a scam, otherwise my account would really be approximately 3 years, if not older. I’ve always received friendly and professional customer service whenever I need to visit a branch. I would highly recommend this Credit Union to ANYONE.

I’ve been with Advantage One for almost 40 years when it was Southgate refit union and I’ve always had the best service, helpful and understanding staff, the e helped me with many things especially establishing my credit on my own and now my score is 811 all on my own so thank you to everyone for all the great years!! Great banking app
As of July 9th, 2024 I’ve had no issues at all with the app and it’s worked great for me ever since I started using Advantage One Credit Union.

Super User Friendly
By far one of the easiest apps I have ever used. I was able to open my bank account and apply for a loan through the app with ease.
