Not working outside India
I have been trying to access the account outside of India. Was working fine in 2025. Stopped working from 2026 onwards.
Unable to register complaints.
The app doesn’t let anyone register complaint now. It just keeps loading. I don’t know if it is a directive from the government to stop users from complaining so that they have a clean record where no new complaints are registered. A cunning move.
Basic app gets the work done
Not much of a complaint but more of a suggestion. Please add “Auto-payment” system because it’s annoying to recharge every time for a prepaid customer.
Say the balance gets below 150, it automatically gets credited from Credit Card or Bank Account.
Also, add “UPI QR” payment option in addition to UPI ID & UPI App.

Address Update Should Be Available via Self-Service KYC
The APDCL app should introduce a self-service option for address updation using KYC document verification. Currently, the process is not user-friendly and takes more time. If users are allowed to update their address by uploading valid KYC documents (like Aadhaar, electricity bill, etc.), it will make the system faster, more transparent, and convenient for everyone. Kindly consider adding this feature in future updates.
