Good luck with this app and service for reporting any issues. They may get back to you in a week and there is no way to report a problem on the app without getting an error.

I’ve never had an issue with this car starter app... Maybe because I had an after market remote starter installed but it’s worked great for the last 5 years for me. Just renewed again!
Won’t take payment for renewal and website doesn’t work
Trying to renew the subscription and it keeps declining my cards. All of them. Tried to log in via web browser and it gets stuck on the login page. In the middle of the coldest week so far. Just great.
Can’t be connected
I renewed my subscription to help me to start and get warm up my car in winter time but totally not working. And can’t find anything to fix it. Useless and waste money.

Constant problems
The app is so unreliable, it works when it wants to, the doors are locked and the app shows it as open and when the remote start is operated, it won’t work. Tried contacting the help desk, they adviced to disconnect negative terminal of battery and reconnect after 2-5 mins, then try to log in the app after 10 minutes, doesn’t work….such a pain

Works intermittently
I have had this system for years. When it works it’s awesome. Unfortunately thats only about 50% of the time I want it to use it.
Worst App Ever
This is truly the worst app I’ve ever used and do not recommend. The first year I had it, it would hardly ever work to start my car the app just freezes. I emailed them and they updated something and it worked fine for a few months. But I’ve noticed every time I start my car it honks which is at 5am.. and struggles to start the car when it’s not even that cold out. There have also been many times it just unlocks my doors!! Which is a huge safety concern. I hate this app and I never would have purchased it if I would have know how awful it is.

Not reliable
This app only works intermittently and customer support doesn’t help! I wouldn’t renew.
Poor connectivity
It worked extremely well about 2 weeks before renewal. Once I renewed it hasn't connected once. Feel like I'm being ripped off!
Unreliable App
This app worked great for a while, but this last year it bottomed out, they did a recent software upgrade now it’s not working again, just as it’s hitting -20 temps.
Disappointed
I am writing to express my disappointment with MyCar Remote Start device which I purchased over 7 years. The product was great in the beginning and I was amazed at its capabilities. I started my car while I was 3000 miles away. Fast forward, I started encountering frequent malfunctions with the device to completely not working after I had a replacement part installed due to the old part no longer working because it was running on 3G or something like that. So I needed to upgrade a part in the device. Let me add that was the first time in my life paying for a replacement part that I did not cause any defect to the part. Then I had to pay the same company I purchased the starter from initially to install the replacement part.
I have called Customer Support a few times with the same issue, the device fails to start my vehicle. I have gotten responses such as its your car battery that’s causing, let me see if I can start your car from my end, oh I am looking at your system now and everything looks fine; you need to have the device serviced. I never had to do that before the replacement part. I asked for a refund because the device stopped working a month after I renewed my subscription. I was told NO because whomever I spoke to at Customer Support said they are not the manufacturer. I had a new battery installed and still my remote starter does not work. Cannot afford to keep going to have it serviced when this was not my issue to start with. This problem has caused a significant inconvenience to me especially during really cold day in Chicago. I am no tech or engineer but common sense is telling me that the paid replacement part sent to me is the issue. Or spend some money on another upgrade to 5G. 4G is obsolete.

Worst car start I ever bought. every day when i need it to start my car. It shows poor connection and i can't start my car on App.Unable to turn off my car.Don't waste money on Mycar app.

I love the app when it works but ever since iOS 18.0 I cannot even open the app. Could we get a patch ASAP? This is a service I am paying for and it is bricked

It worked great the first year, majority of the time there is no connection. Should had just purchased the one that dealership offered from factory!!!!
