Minor fixes

User reviews

No corrections allowed

I made a mistake and there is no way to fix it! I can’t delete the wrong entry for HCP. I can’t use my primary because I don’t know his email address. The app is useless for me.

Very limited documentation

I was initially impressed with the app. What I didn’t immediately realize is that the document it creates is a very limited document that has NONE of you personal wishes.

The app tells you to click the pencil icon to edit the document and write your own wishes. That icon is nowhere to be found. You’re left with a document that really does nothing but name those you wish to represent you in the event you cannot speak for yourself.

In addition, you cannot list your doctors without listing their email addresses. None of my physicians give out their email address. It’s for their personal/internal usage. Without a list of your doctors, this company can have no direct contact with your doctors. What’s the point of the document?

Lastly, my chosen representatives are required to create an account in order to accept the agreement. I provided their names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. They don’t need to create an account, or give out more personal information.

I’m disappointed in this company. I closed my account. But, they now have not only my personal information, but much of that on the two people I chose to represent me. Shame on My Directives.

Barebones

Pretty disappointing how limited this app is. There’s only a few things it asks you about and the rest is crap you have to upload as documents. Might as well just have a medical directives folder in your phone files for PDFs.

And the gender options are sadly last millennium. Since this is a MEDICAL app, it should have two gender fields (how you were assigned and how you identify). There’s no way to input intersex; if you’re transgender it doesn’t have a way to input your gender (transgender itself isn’t a gender); no options for gender fluid, non-binary, agender, etc.

Great concept but doesn’t work

I love the idea and it seems to be a good concept but it will not let me upload my PDFs files from OneDrive. I tried three times over two days from two different devices. Same issue. Then I Tried to pull up help but I could not reach anyone. As a result I end up with everything except the very key documents I need so it becomes unusable. Worse, it gives you the impression that it is complete but my ignores the very docs needed to confirm it.

Would have been good if it worked.

Also it automatically sends notes to your contacts telling them they are you contacts. It did not warn me that I did this. A little sneaky and not best practice.

Peace of mind

This has provided so much peace of mind for myself and my family. Especially given the current environment in the world, this is the easiest decision I could make for my future.

Totally recommended!!
