Honest review
I’ve been a user of D’Link camera for a decade now, but until now there is no major update for all the cameras. The only reason i keep on buying and using it because you can use a MMC to record videos but those videos is hard to access and take a lot of patience to do it.
When it comes to Mydlink App. It takes time to open the video, 15 to 20 seconds before you can open a live video, and if you want to open a notification to view the captured video, it will take a minute or worse, you need to close and reopen the app just to access it.
The question is why still 5 star? Because i’m not giving up with D’link, i’m still looking forward that all will be much better and work as it should be.

11 Kameras gekauft eine davon eingerichtet, 10 können nicht reg. werden.
Ich habe Probleme, 11 Kams 6501LH anzumelden. Bei einer ist es gelungen. Immer wieder gingen die zuvor reg. Cams in den Offlinemodus. Ein Hardreset half nicht ( Reset 15 Sek. Drücken und die Cam 3 Minuten vom Strom / Netz) trennen. Bei Hotline ist seit mehreren!! Tagen nur ein AB am laufen. Die Cams sollten als Ersatz für meine alten Dlinks (6xxx) sein. Die Cams werden erkannt, aber beim Anmelden an der Fritz!Box (korrekter Name der Box / die letzten 3 Ziffern des Passworts korrekt ) bleibt der Vorgang hängen. FRITZ!Box ok. , WLAN über Fritz ok ( am IPhone).

Individual camera switch lost
The latest firmware 2.15.0 shows a bug that individual camera’s on/off switch has disappeared.
Push notifications issues
Poor. Water sensor seen inside app. Water sensor icon can connect to sensor and list water detection. Sensor not registered as event logged in app. Poor app programming. Even with app and iOS both allowing push notification apps programming seems faulty to communicate with recent iOS
The applies. Water sensors have replaceable batteries
The app lies and claims you need to replace the water sensor.
Don’t buy
After 6months if you don’t have a subscription. The camera won’t work. Or it will detect motion but you won’t be able to view.
Problem Connecting Internet
I am trying to connecting my d link camera and i put my wifi password but the app said cannot connect to this network. Need help please. It very frustrating to fixed issue i try multiple times resetting my d link camera but doesn’t work on. Do I need to update my d link camera?

Remote access to Dlink cameras DCS-8010LH not working after installing mydlink app release 2.14.0.
Only way I can now access these cameras is on my computer using Microsoft Edge.
Please fix this issue caused by mydlink app release upgrade version 2.14.0, which was release approximately 3 weeks ago.

my live feed won’t allow me to watch only when the videos are saved, I can watch them but not live
Doesn’t work
Only works when it feels like it, regardless if you put privacy settings on or not, it does not do what it’s supposed to
Saved cottage flooding
My phone alert went off when basement water pump leaked and I was able to drive 2 hours to cottage and turn pump off. Minimal water damage !!!! I have a second one in first floor underneath washing machine. I’ve had these for 3 years.
