App crashes after 6 seconds
I have tried this app on multiple devices - both Apple and Android with multiple WiFi networks. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I was an engineer in Silicon Valley for 20 years - so I generally know how to troubleshoot. I send a software app crash report to the support team. I have not had a response after over a week.

Device is good but connectivity to app is terrible I have to re connect every time I use it. Only Bluetooth connects as WiFi page is rubbish
It does not remember pairing, have to login every time.
It's amazing that, based on previous reviews, this hasn't been fixed. every time I log onto the app via Bluetooth, it doesn't remember once I close the app. so, every time I wanna change the setting, I have to go through the tedious login process. It seems only slightly better with Wi-Fi, which has its own complications. The Growatt 550 is very app-reliant.So this is extremely unideal, especially when using it as a main power source off grid.

App not letting me create account
I tried creating app with Apple ID and Gmail and no luck I’m getting emails. When I do the Apple thing is says 502 when I do the other I just keeps tying to load but nothing.

Bei der Growatt Infinity 1300 kann man den AC-Charge Mode nicht umstellen weil es vorgaukelt mit einer Shine App (nie installiert gehabt) den Solar Modus enabled zu haben. Out of the Box, was ein Unfug. Die Shine App (dann installiert) meint allerdings der Modus wäre aus.
Kurzum. Ziemlich buggy das ganze. Macht so keinen Spaß.

App works fine
This app works fine for me with the infinity 1300.
Is useful more than anything.
Would like to see in a future update to be able to see how much energy I had used and also the ability to set a desired time to start and end charging to take advantage of cheap rates of electricity.

The app that could be great but isn’t
Easily connected via Bluetooth. Also easily created account and use WiFi. Connection is fast and easy. The app itself is very minimal. Recommended improvements:
1) Make the ac and dc graphs interactive so that you can zoom in/out and analyze power use over time.

Misspellings are everywhere - but app doesn’t even work
Can’t create a power strategy- it just said “You don’t have permission” and it loses wi-fi every 5 minutes and you have to set it back up again. Very frustrating as it’s useless without the app
Unbrauchbare Software
Mit dieser Software sind Einstellungen an der PS nicht möglich. Ich kann den AC Charge Mode nicht einstellen, das heißt die Powerstation wird permanent mit 1200W geladen. Einstellen auf 400W oder 800W wird mir auf der App immer angezeigt das Solar angeschlossen ist, obwohl dies so nicht ist. Selbst den Support über die App anschreiben um das Problem zu schildern ist nicht möglich. Kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung, senden nicht möglich. Was bringt mir eine Powerstation, die Abhängig von der App ist um diese einzustellen.

Löscht man alle Räume erscheinen sie umgehend wieder. Bug im August 2023 gemeldet.
Die App ist immer noch nicht in deutscher Sprache. Da sieht man, wie unwichtig man dem Hersteller ist.
Kann jedem nur den Wechsel zur EF empfehlen. Mein ausführlicher Test ist auf Amazon in den Rezensionen zu finden. Ja, es ist gleichzeitig auch die längste von allen ;)

Gute Station, schlechte Software
Leider verliert die App immer wieder die Verbindung. Bzw. Die Station verliert das wlan. Das Signal ist sehr gut, daran kann es nicht liegen. Verbindung kam 5 Stunden, mal 3 Tage lang. Auch gibt es einige Features, die dringend nachgebessert werden müssen. Wenn AC wegen leerer Batterie ausgeschaltet wird; wäre es toll, wenn es bei voller Batterie wieder automatisch eingeschaltet wird. (Einstellbar). Oder, wenn Akku bei X Prozent, schalte den AC Lade-Eingang ein. Etc. Würde so tolle Sachen geben.

APP installiert, Verbindung zur Powerstation hergestellt und alles funktioniert, genau wie es sein soll mit allen Powerstationen von GROWATT !!! Gute Arbeit und Danke dafür , auch der Darkmode ist vorhanden, super diese App👍🏻 Unter Service gibt es sogar bei vielen der Powerstationen eine deutsche Anleitung in der App welche man problemlos ausdrucken kann !!!

Useless
After nearly 2 hours to get this set up, I try to use it the next day and… Nothing. Logged in but can’t find my wretched solar Growatt inverter. Please update the app or the inverter and make it functional to get a better review!

Email field is limited in characters
Not sure what I expected from app but when the app limits the email address to less that the characters in your name it makes it impossible to resister.
I could enter the 40 characters in my email address to get the verification code which was sent. But can’t complete verification because the email field is limited to less than 40 characters.

App does not remember password
The app does not remember your password. It requires you to enter your password every time you launch the app. This also means that if you are off-grid without internet connectivity, you can’t sign into the app and manage your power station. Very disappointing that this has not been fixed.
Registered after some difficulty. Shouldn’t require login for Bluetooth
Update: I previously struggled to get past the email verification stage, but finally got through. Turns out the emails were not getting sent or getting through (checked junk) when signing in with Apple ID using the private relay. Email verification worked with a plain old iCloud account. The login seems to expire every 24 hours, which wouldn’t be good for being off grid for several days or if the internet was down. At the very least they could make the login only expire after a week or more.
