Alberta is a joke

Never worked.

Doesn’t work even after reinstalling.

Flicks open and then immediately closes even after reinstalling

Typical government app

Fix this app, it constantly errors when I try to log in on my phone, works from my pc sometimes.

App

No good

The Worst

The Alberta Government has really made a mess of all these apps. You can not enter your Alberta Health Care number even if you have it. The app demands verification prior to information entry. The phone help line has wait times over an hour. The first menu choice on the help line is asking about difficulties using the app, obviously because it is frustrating many people with dis functionality . The ID app needs this app to work yet is a separate app. What an expensive mess they have created.

App crashes

I can’t even open the app. Just immediately crashes.

Just spins, does not work

Login in with creds and 2fa and it just spins

Brutal

Have to login multiple times and then still may not be able to access health records (error messages). Can’t seem to access child records at all. Very, very painful.

App Crashes

I updated the app and then every time I click on it it crashes to the Home Screen. Please fix this.

App does not work

App does not work

Useless

Just leads me around in circles asking me to verify my ID (which already shows as verified)

Does This App Ever Work?

The App never works, logging in using a browser never works, neither Safari nor Chrome. The login for MyAlbertaHealth,or whatever it’s branded this week, just dumps me back to my devices home page. On the rare occasion I can actually login there appears no way to navigate to my records, just a banner telling me what the latest features are, none of which can be located.
This used to work a few years back but the idea of accessing my lab results is now just that, an idea, this has gone from bad to worse!
I can access them via a PC and on my iPhone (occasionally) but not on my iPad, which is supposed to be compatible, pro 10.5” running iOS 17. This sort of service needs to be extremely backwards compatible.
On a separate, but probably related, note it is the same disaster trying to log in to pay car registration each year. I go to the AMA for the car and wait for a call from my Dr. Whatever Alberta pay for this garbage it’s too much!

This app sucks

Never cook again

Would be great if it ever worked

Stick to using the website. I’ve never been able to log into the app successfully regardless of which device I use. I use Apple and my partner used android and we both experience the same failures

Waste of govt money

This app is government run amuck. A total waste of taxpayer money and the WORST implementation of an app I can fathom. The UI and all the integrations are haphazard at best.

Come on GoA! Build a real app. Write a Swift native app for iOS. This is a piece of trash!

Very poor

Not updated from over 2 years ago on many tests and meds

Doesn’t work

The app doesn’t do anything. Going to delete since it’s useless.

this app sucks

i love how much this app literally never works! great job guys!

Did we go backwards?

Unable yo use app as writing is over writing and that’s over a button. Guess the government is to broke to test the app but not enough to waste money changing a WORKING app.

Horrible

The government is the one in charge of this app you’d really think it’d be better, why not put the time on fixing it when you first made the app
