Does This App Ever Work?
The App never works, logging in using a browser never works, neither Safari nor Chrome. The login for MyAlbertaHealth,or whatever it’s branded this week, just dumps me back to my devices home page. On the rare occasion I can actually login there appears no way to navigate to my records, just a banner telling me what the latest features are, none of which can be located.
This used to work a few years back but the idea of accessing my lab results is now just that, an idea, this has gone from bad to worse!
I can access them via a PC and on my iPhone (occasionally) but not on my iPad, which is supposed to be compatible, pro 10.5” running iOS 17. This sort of service needs to be extremely backwards compatible.
On a separate, but probably related, note it is the same disaster trying to log in to pay car registration each year. I go to the AMA for the car and wait for a call from my Dr. Whatever Alberta pay for this garbage it’s too much!

Would be great if it ever worked
Stick to using the website. I’ve never been able to log into the app successfully regardless of which device I use. I use Apple and my partner used android and we both experience the same failures
Waste of govt money
This app is government run amuck. A total waste of taxpayer money and the WORST implementation of an app I can fathom. The UI and all the integrations are haphazard at best.
Come on GoA! Build a real app. Write a Swift native app for iOS. This is a piece of trash!

Did we go backwards?
Unable yo use app as writing is over writing and that’s over a button. Guess the government is to broke to test the app but not enough to waste money changing a WORKING app.

The government is the one in charge of this app you’d really think it’d be better, why not put the time on fixing it when you first made the app
App does not work
I updated the app and it still doesn’t work. Constantly bugs. You click on the icon and it immediately crashes.

The app never works and is glitchy. Called the one 800 number to get some assistance and was told to uninstall and reinstall, but it won’t even let me do that. This app is terrible needs to be fixed.
Poorly handled sso
I started with email and password switched to google sign in when that was an option now the token doesn’t get passed properly and it will just boot you out of the sso browser and back to login screen never logging in
Frustrating!!
90% it will say ERROR. The app has excessive web redirects that make it frustrating to use. confusing too! Make it simpler please!
Constant spam
Constant string of spam notifications that are unrelated to the described purpose of this app: Be notified of lab results and other actual medical information/records.

About 80% of the time, the ap errors and you can’t log in. Someone fix this garbage ap

I was able to log in before now if I click on it just sends me back to my home page on phone!!! I had an ultra sound on heart and wanna see results before I hear from doctor I could log in month or so ago but not now what happened ?

I think people just suck at remembering passwords
Super easy to use and see your recent lab results. Had zero issues logging in or using the service. Thanks for making this app so I can easily access my records. The low reviews are definitely technology impaired individuals. If you have your Alberta account details you won’t have any issues.
Bad Notifications
I will never participate in the journey section of this app. So I do not want push Notifications asking me to set up this information. I only want push Notifications when lab results or appointment appointments come in. Please add more granular notification configurations.
