Nice idea but….
Could be useful. However:
1. No location feature
2. No clear status
3. No ability to disable the seriously annoying internal movement sensors.
Most useful as the car regularly (daily) fails to lock using remote/ windows stay open even after buttons used to close them. If these things worked properly the app would basically be redundant.

Charger failure beware
MyHyundai crashed the API link that enabled my Ohme charger to communicate fully with my Kona as was previously available on Bluelink. This despite Ohme being described as “the official partner of Hyundai”. When this concern is raised with Hyundai they just shrug their shoulders and dodge the question.

900MB for clunky uninspired UX
This app is almost 900MB. Which explains why it takes ages for the app to boot up.
It’s a shame the app that goes with my £40k+ car does not have decent investment into a well made app.
The UX is uninspired, I saw a tutorial vid from less than a year ago, in the US, show an app with an infinitely nicer dashboard and UI design. I want that app please.

Absolutely love this app it’s a must I think! If I forget to lock the car, the app reminds me to lock the car.
Useless
How can a company that is able to make good cars be so incapable of producing an app that is worth downloading. This latest version is next to useless. We have lost the refresh button so I never know the state of charge
Pay for basic functionality

Tried to connect phone via CarPlay and you now want me to use the MyHyundai app instead Bluelink. At this point I’m 50 miles from home and it’s midnight. So I download the app, sign in (yes my sign in details are correct) and I’m getting a “temporary error” message. This has been going on for nearly 2 hours. I am supposed to be driving to Cornwall in the morning. How am I supposed to do that without being able to connect my phone for maps etc? Can’t use the useless satnav on the car. Absolutely livid! Sort it out.

Unreliable charging
Cannot guarantee that the car charges, when plugged in. The vehicle battery has gone flat twice. Dealer checked and says “there’s nothing wrong”

Not showing perfect location i need to try 3-4 time and then it’s showing so frustration

Everything’s good except door locking
Enjoying everything about the app except the app keeps sending me notifications that my doors are unlocked, when they are locked.

Great to have an app but it isn’t brilliant. Its a bit clunky and not very intuitive.
Have you tried using it?
Can’t imagine a worse app or UI. Just because you make it white and modern doesn’t make it good. First I pay for the app that doesn’t give additional functionality over time, you just shuffle buttons around and call it an improvement. Then I can’t tell what the car is actually doing after sending a command. There are multiple convoluted ways of doing the same thing. Please have your developers use actual EVs and use their own software before punishing us with it. I’m going back to Tesla after my experience with Hyundai EVs.

Will not run on iPhone 7! Like before?
Does not work on my iPhone 7. The previous issue did? Can you help? Can I have the old app back please? I receive alarms and warnings about it is not locked or a window open. But the app will not run or load.
Scheduled charging gripe
The original app was awkward to schedule charge but this one’s even worse. How many times have I turned in for the night thinking charging is scheduled for cheap rate to find in the morning it hasn’t charged at all!…. Sooo annoying!!! Please make scheduling the car to charge via the app simpler it’s the only thing I hate with my Tucson!

Was good
Was good, but recently the pic/icon of my cars has just become a grey shadow. Having 2 Hyundais it was always nice to see the pic of which one was set to main, now it’s not as easy on the eye. Always been a little annoying to switch between the 2 cars also, need to add in a quicker ‘garage system’ where it’s easier to pick which one you want to control from the main screen, and not have to go into settings and set one as the main car.

Does not allow mobile verification to be entered so not useable
Finicky and makes a lot of assumptions
Good luck getting this app to work if you are somewhere with poor mobile signal (most of the UK outside of large urban areas) and you find the verification code email has a load of pointless graphical faff that times out the verification period before the email has arrived and fully loaded so that you cannot enter the verification code in good time. Well done Hyundai, an utterly miserable experience and now I have to drive 14 miles to the dealership to sort out this pile of unnecessary bovine excrement.

Not working
Since the last update nothing in the app works. Tried reinstalling the app and still nothing
Tyre Pressure Insight’s
Since the recent update to myHyundai the new tyre pressure insight does not work. I get a message that says this is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. It’s been doing this since I installed the update from the App Store I have tried to remove the app and reinstall but this fails to work. My car does have TPMS so I’m not sure whether this is a bug or not. I have raised it with Bluelink support but they’ve yet to come back to me.
