This app is so bad I cried when I tried to scan my face it doesn’t work like when I try to scan my face it wouldn’t even pick it up the lighting. You need so much you’ll be blind because my face was not picked up. Don’t download this it’s a waste of time and a waste of sanity and I’m trust me. You will cry. It’s so horrible. Don’t download it like if you download it you could be doing other stuff but you’re wasting your time using this app like 2K update this or make 2K 24th and make the app for 2K 24. OK you’re wasting peoples time lower the price on 2K 24 because of what you did. I hate you guys. And 2K is not good anymore

Face Scan Does not work
I own an iPhone 8 Plus and I'm trying to upload my face into the game so I can play as myself and clearly it doesn't work this app needs to be updated ASAP !
New Year Same Crap Tech
I haven’t played NBA2K since 2K19…How do I have a new iPhone Pro Max, a PS5, it’s 2023 yet my face scan was 100x better back on 19…I can’t believe y’all have not improved y'all face tech at all…

Don’t Waste Your Time
I spent over an hour trying to scan my face holding my phone up to my face and turning my head side to side like 30+ times like an idiot while wasting so much time accomplishing nothing. It never worked at all a single time. I tried different internet, restarting my phone, restarting the console, deleting the app and reinstalling, nothing worked do not waste your time like I did you will accomplish nothing and be frustrated like me.

Can’t log in
SMH idk who face they are putting on my player but it’s not mine, I’ve tried to scan my face over 20xs no exaggeration with different lighting to get MY FACE to scan but some reason it looks NOTHING like not even a tad bit. I didn’t have this issue with the 2k22 app
DO NOT DOWNLOAD
If you download this app you will get nothing. Last year it was completely fine, now they changed something and it was ruined. I don’t know what they changed but they need to CHANGE IT BACK. It is a big letdown for such a gigantic company because it’s also hard to make a ‘cool’ face on the game. The game is good the app is trash.

Don’t waste your time
In all the years of face scan tech I’ve never downloaded an app worse than this one. It doesn’t even register your face consistently. It only catches one frame then it freezes and doesn’t do anything. Don’t even waste your time

idk why there is so much hate, this is the best the head scan has worked in years (for me at least).
if you come out looking like a “monster” as the other reviews say, then try going outside when its not too sunny out but theres good lighting. The sun will make your face a lot more red so make sure it aint too sunny. Hope this helps someone.

Literally trash
This piece of dog won’t even let me sign in. This is probably the most dog water piece of crap app i’ve ever seen and gotten in my life. It’s literally trash don’t waste your time getting this app. The graphics are even garbage. It has worse graphics than the original Nintendo. Not to mention the face scan doesn’t work and it make u look like the mole off of slugterra. Just a horrible app don’t get it.

Great app
This is a really good app for entering locker codes and looking at my team news, but it’s 4 stars not 5 because it makes me re login every time I want to get into the app.
Face scan Literally don’t work
When I try to scan my face it gets one box checked maximum, other than that nothing ever scans no matter what lighting and position I’m in. It amazes me that the reviews of the app are actually accurate.

Do y’all even put effort into anything everything y’all do jus doesn’t work ever and y’all never fix it your problems. Never worked ever after 100s of tries. I know absolutely nothing on how to make a game but I guarantee I’d make a better game and app for the game…
Bring back the card games
The app was better when u could earn vc from the app by playing the card games like MyTeam all there is to it is the face scan my opinion that’s weak
Face scan doesn’t work whatsoever
I tried different lighting, backing up from the camera, taking up all the space and no matter what I do it never scans. Bro 2k20 and 2k21 did my scans perfectly. I never played 2k22 so I can’t say anything about those but please fix this man. This is so sad for a company that has in game inflation every year

Most of these reviews are just people not knowing there login or can’t hold a phone straight. If you can do both of those things you should be green.
Face scan is broken
For the past few years face scan has been completely inaccurate giving a face that doesn’t even resemble me and a skin tone that is far from mine as well. I suspect that 2K doesn’t care about this feature of the game anymore given it hasn’t been even close to reality in some time. Very disappointing. I would have given this a zero star rating if that was an option.

im just a normal white dude, did my face scan in bright light. the face it gave me is a black dude who looks nothing like me, he has a black eye, the bottom half of his nose is pitch black, and his mouth is covered in black sores with one random bleach-white spot on the corner??

Me personally never had a problem with this app . 20 , 21, 22 were all good but I do not know what happened to this years app . Thank you 2k for all of your apps . I love 2k on my PlayStation . Innacurate
So for context I am a white dude witth long hair all around my head. I spent the last 20 minutes to get my scan right so I don’t look weird. After 20 I finally get it right and it successfully scans. And wanna know what I get? A black guy with a fade. How you mess up that bad💀
