So slow!
The camera is great, the app is dreadful. Takes so long to download from camera to phone, I mean like 20 minutes at least per clip. Makes the app totally pointless. It’s not what you would expect from Nextbase who are very highly regarded as camera suppliers. I just don’t understand why they would put their name to this junk!

I have to sell these things, the old model were average but customer are kicking off big time.

Such an expensive dash cam for what it does. Accessing footage is a dreadfully slow process and doesn’t even work half the time as it just crashes. It protects files that aren’t even the ones that needs protecting. Please fix your app !!!!!!

The app is a waste of time
The camera is brilliant but trying to connect the camera to my iPhone via the app is Impossible. It keeps trying to connect - the devices are 12 inches apart in the car - but the connection keeps failing. Eventually makes the connection but then drops. No helpful messages, just try again.
Why bother
This does things so slowly it’s useless. Accessing files from your next base, assuming it’s recorded at all, takes so long that I’ve always given up long before anything worthwhile downloads.
The dash am itself decides most days not to work at all but gets hot enough to cook an egg. Bloody useless. No way of knowing whether it’s on or off. Worse than useless.

App is dreadful
Can never connect to the app and it if I do it just scrolls forever. Don’t bother with the app. It’s not fit for purpose. Dreadful
Accessory Not Supported
I have tried several times, troubleshooting several different ways and the app still doesn’t connect to our 422GW, it just gives the “accessory not supported” and says to retry, kinda sucks to not have access to all the extra features and support from the app.
Avoid this cameras
App is unusable, constant connectivity problems, unable to download videos update takes ages, just overall bad

Rubbish app
Literally impossible to download any of the footage, just constantly loads and never goes anywhere. Constantly forgets my dash cam even though it’s connected too?
SUCKS!!!!!
Repeatedly will NOT connect to the dash cam, the stupid dash cam powers off after 30 seconds of idle time (it takes longer than 30 seconds to establish a connection), and NO video files will play in the app. At ALL. It says to download them to play, but oh hey download doesn’t work either!!!! This is a garbage app!!!!!

Not reliable
Shows in wrong measurement despite settings being correct. Now when I try to open recordings it says they can’t be played in Nextbase Connect and to try and find another app to open them in. I do not recommend this app or these products

I have to say the power cords to the main unit suck at the 622 GW. Vibration spreads the contacts to the unit on top of the camera. Had to take that one back to the store. Replacement unit was ok. But,

Complete waste of time
Is never able to establish a connection. If it does it then can’t play back files on the app. Or it tells you the camera has no SD card. Absolute waste of time. I thought I was upgrading from garmin - clearly not. Garmin app was slow but at least it worked. Will be trying to get my money back for this.

Garage App
This app is trash so is the company. The 622GW won’t connect to the app and the is no customer support service. The website says to delete the app and reinstall that doesn’t work then it says restart the camera and that still doesn’t work but no number to call to get anymore details
Hopeless
No longer connects to dashcam. Reinstalled app countless occasions reset camera numerous times to no avail. Frustrating to say the least.
Don’t buy
I don't recommend these dash cams, they heat up very quickly, you get a lot of errors. And the NexTBase app works very slowly.
