Disconnect from Bluetooth
Had no end of issues with dashcam connection to Bluetooth. Dashcam 622GWX was constantly over heating and freezing while on Bluetooth. Once disconnected and removed from my iPhone Bluetooth devices the dashcam then worked fine. Just use the dashcam on its own without Bluetooth.

Like for the last 6 years reviews ,still the app hasn’t improved.if I would have known I would not of bought a Netbase dash cam
Connection Issues
I’ve had the dash cam for about 2 years now and all worked well up until recently. Now having constant connection issues between my phone and dashcam. Have to constantly delete the app and reinstall again and set up again. A pain to say the least. Doubt I’ll have this brand again.
Great Dashcam, needs a workable app!
The majority of comments seem to like the camera but hate the app! Well log another that thoroughly agrees with that sentiment! The app is among the worst I’ve ever tried to use! What’s worse is that its complaint seems to go back years and absolutely nothing has changed! Come on Nextbase, sort the app out, it’s ruining your reputation ! If I’d realised the app was atrocious I wouldn’t have bought the camera!

Impossible to update 522gw.
Connection Failed Lap Code 3
Done everything I can to connect my 422GW to this app and constantly get an error code, I’ve reset the dash cam, reset my WiFi and Bluetooth settings and I still can’t connect
Can’t get a video off of the camera
What is the point of having a dash cam if you can’t get any video to download to the app? Difficult and painfully slow to connect to the app in the first place, then can’t download anything!? 😫

Face dash cam won’t connect to my phone. The app is not working properly. Causing all sorts of problems used to work when I bought it and now the app start playing up please fix this My dash cam is fine. It’s the app.
Cameras are good but this app??
The cameras are quite good but the App is a waste of time, does not connect. Spent ages reloading resetting but.. nothing. Waste of time. I don’t understand why there has been over 6 years and bad reviews for this product and yet the company has done nothing??
Camera great but the app is dreadful
Bought as an upgrade from a previous dash cam
Can’t fault the fitting by Halfords & the footage is extremely clear
But the mobile App and the computer interface are both useless & so frustrating

The opposite of smooth
A nightmare to connect and maintain connection

I’ve got a 322GW and have downloaded both Nextbase apps but still can’t get footage to my I- phone 15.

Dash cam and app are fine. I do understand though how frustrating it is to connect the dash cam to the app. I suggest taking the dash cam into your house and put both WiFi and blue tooth on and connect the dash cam to a charger and wire so it’s on all the time, it’ll take 10 seconds to connect to the app, it’s worked for me.

Terrible app connectivity
Cameras are great but the app is exceptionally poor. Fails to connect to camera and takes ages to download anything, if it ever gets that far. I wouldn’t recommend this company.

Absolutely nightmare disconnected not going to connect it after have to reset the camera delete the app and reinstall it again You still hard work that’s a shame. Chinese product are better and much costless.
Good camera useless app
The camera itself does what it needs to but the app is useless for downloading onto the phone. It takes me up to 40 mins sometimes to get one video and the rest of the time I give up, horrendous app….. nextbase need to do better!!!

Unquestionably the worst app on the App Store. It’s is impossible to use, you cannot connect to the dash cam with it, so to summarise don’t bother with nextbase,

I love Nextbase cameras, but the app is shocking. You’re better off trying to just connect the SD card to your laptop to get footage off. Nextbase really need to improve this app!
Slow
Downloading Files are extremely slow and it keeps on failing to update to the latest software. Yes I do have connection full Wi-Fi service and mobile service service
