Disappointment again
Lacking some basic functionality that Xero has
1. Can only upload images, not files. This is a problem because the “email receipts” function frequently fails, and you have to save supplier invoice attachments as files to upload. You can’t upload these via the app, you have to wait till you’re back at your computer. Very inefficient, and things therefore get missed.
2. You can’t view uploaded receipts in the app. Which means
A) you can’t check whether you’ve already uploaded a receipt; and
B) you can’t check and change if necessary the matched fields
This inability to view uploads then leads to the really big issue:
3. MYOB does not recognise and reject duplicate receipts. Therefore you end up with duplicate expense uploads.
Overall this app is a really inferior product, and actually affects the bigger decision of which accounting software to use

The old capture app was so quick & easy, now I end up with a pile of paper receipts.
Should have kept the old app for people that only need to capture receipts, big step backwards

Constantly logging in
I have biometrics set up but having to then re-login and get the emailed two-factor verification code is a pain.
I know the developers have a 'security first' focus but this is overkill. The website is the same.
This program is to track my finances not to actually hold my money...painful overkill.

Thanks for sharing this }-{ippy. Capturing a receipt in the moment needs to happen fast and the security of your data is just as important. To balance this out, the app logs out after 30 minutes of inactivity, while still being designed to let you get back in quickly. If your device supports biometric login, tap ‘more' (bottom right) then select ‘enable biometrics’ under Account Settings. Thanks ^MYOB
