Disappointment again
Problems getting touch thru ‘support’ closed old app went to reinstall app open in App Store can’t get to downloads to phone. Looks like will need to ‘open’ thru App Store 🤷♀️😡
Lacking some basic functionality that Xero has
I’ve switched to MYOB from Xero, for my business accounting. I primarily use the app to capture business expenses (receipts) on the go. Some big downsides to the MYOB app that Xero does no problem (which is making me change my accounting software back to Xero) are:
1. Can only upload images, not files. This is a problem because the “email receipts” function frequently fails, and you have to save supplier invoice attachments as files to upload. You can’t upload these via the app, you have to wait till you’re back at your computer. Very inefficient, and things therefore get missed.
2. You can’t view uploaded receipts in the app. Which means
A) you can’t check whether you’ve already uploaded a receipt; and
B) you can’t check and change if necessary the matched fields
This inability to view uploads then leads to the really big issue:
3. MYOB does not recognise and reject duplicate receipts. Therefore you end up with duplicate expense uploads.
Overall this app is a really inferior product, and actually affects the bigger decision of which accounting software to use

Waiting time for support for myob help and support
Edit: close to 2 hours now and still on hold. Don’t know how many more hours I will have to wait to speak to someone. Ridiculous waiting time and no callback option.
MYOB assist
About time myob caught up with the modern world. It’s the best thing myob has released in a long time. One issue to be resolved, which is the requirement to sign in every time. A PIN code would fix this issue.
Would be great if it worked
We had it working and now it doesn’t even bring us to a login in page. I seen there was an issue online but when is it getting fixed?
