About
Researchers at Curtin University understand that each young person’s experience of pain and their care needs are unique. There is no ‘one size fits all’ for effective, quality musculoskeletal pain care. Young people have told us that they want care that is meaningful, personalised and accessible.
mypainhealth is a 5-year research program partnering with young people living with chronic musculoskeletal pain to co-design a digital health solution to support quality personalised pain care in their day-to-day lives.
The mypainhealth digital health solution aims to support young people in their self-management and clinical care. To assist us in co-designing this digital solution, we want to understand the impact of living with chronic pain on young people’s overall well-being (including physical, emotional/psychological, and social). We also want to understand what young people value in pain care, their care experiences and care preferences, and how young people make care decisions.
