I checked today after years of being frustrated with this app being on its own private wifi to see if it can now join your homes wifi network, but apparently no effort has been made as of today to update this app so it could actually be used effortlessly from your phone 😡😡

Useless

I was hoping that the WiFi connectivity would allow me to control the unit remotely. This is not the case!!! The unit has its own WiFi network, that you can connect to, so when you are in range, can control it. If I am in its WiFi range, it is easier to walk to it and press a button, than to look for the network and do it on my phone. I am very disappointed.

This will not work with any smart home device

It says Wi-Fi but really it is not. Do you have to connect directly to the transformer to control it. This means you can’t use Google home, Alexa, Apple home, etc. really false advertising.

Garbage

Once connected to default WiFi, you can not change it to your home WiFi. It’s has been a while since I’ve seen such a crappy app.
