This app is a joke
You can’t get visibility for your place outside of a very limited set of members, and then even to reach them, you have to pay the app $8 per month. What an insane business model.

I love using MyPlace, much prefer it over Airbnb as it’s much more of a community and trustworthy feel. Can’t recommend it enough!

Nice idea, community doesn’t seem to follow
Unlike other home sharing apps, this one seems to simply be another Airbnb copy instead of a true exchange app. The methods for finding “prices” are reading through descriptions and sending messages which is highly inconvenient. If it were truly a cost-basis home sharing app this wouldn’t be so much of a concern but people seem to be charging way over rent+.

I love MyPlace. Sharing my home has not only allowed me to have multiple homes and travel cost effectively by sharing other’s homes, it’s a real community - you’ll make friends too. Come for the home sharing, stay for the people.
