Why am I being charged for this?!
Strongly object to being charged to use the app considering I bought a new car from you already. Seems like a shameless money grab to me. And as such I resent my driving data being taken in the name of improving same app when I already said no, for the above reason.

Good car, but let down by this poor quality app and the IT systems.
Confusing, buggy, and rammed full of ‘features’ which either don’t work properly, or only work if one’s car has them equipped, or only work in particular countries.
Imagine doing a Google search for restaurants within your postcode, and getting results thousands of miles away. It’s pointless applying a filter (like a VIN), if none of the results are actually filtered.
Emailing support generates no response.

Pretty - but waiting to bite!
As with other VW group vehicles, a useful App. In the professional audio industry, pretty much any sound processor one can think of is also supplied with comprehensive software - enabling one to EQ a room, conduct audio analysis, determine the polarity and operating health of in-circuit loudspeakers and create virtual room controls etc. The major difference? With the audio industry, the software is supplied FOC for the life of the product. In the Auto industry, the App gets frozen after a year, unless one elects to pay a few £hundred a year. A rip-off, pure and simple!
