Wrong car
My skoda app gets connected to random cars and shows all details. Would this be the same for my car being connected to someone elses app?
Nice car, shame about the tech
It’s not so much the app, but the entire Skoda comms and marketing piece. Hugely confusing. Dozens of options advertised, but no real way of knowing if a particular feature is available for a particular car. One has to input the car’s vin number to see the owners’ manual, but then the owners’ manual includes every single option, most of which are not applicable to the car. This app advertises lots of features, most of which will/are unavailable depending on … location? car trim? the availability of the Skoda servers? For example, I can see there’s a weather app. I cannot install it into my car because … no idea … wrong country? Wrong week? I’m a primary user on the car and have jumped through all the other hoops, but not got anywhere nearer to finding a definitive answer. Nice car, nearly new, the stuff I have managed to connect to is great, but the information about available features is bloated and confusing.
Update: And all Škoda ‘support’ can do is send me the same link to the same ‘availability’ page which shows features which do not show in my car or on this poor quality app. Absolutely useless. The weather app is nowhere to be found, half of the remote features are missing. I had already emailed support, who sent me the exact same link to the ‘availability’. I already knew what is advertised as available, why else would I be reaching out? QED.
I just checked again using my VIN and also browsing for the car and model. Both the ‘availability’ checker and the owners manual show EXACTLY the same available features whether the vin is entered or not. Embarrassingly bad logic from the IT geniuses at Škoda, or just lazy and faulty implementation?
Either way my review stands.
I contacted support who, by looking at my VIN, could tell me that the features advertised on the app, on the Skoda website, and in the owners manual, are not in fact available for my car. Even though I entered the VIN on the app, on the website and in the manual, and all advertised features which in my case I have not got. Shoddy implementation, and consequent misadvertising.

Good app
One of the better car apps I’ve used
Back up
I find app easy to use but especially like function for finding car and also ability to check its locked and windows closed.
Good app— but very oriented to Electric vehicles.
I love this app, it is brilliant for viewing my ŠKODA at a glance, however, I was a bit disappointed with the latest release of compatibility with the Watch. A lot of updates seem to be focus-oriented at electric vehicles and I would love to see more features for petrol/diesel equivalents.
Looking down on customers
So far I have enjoyed this app, great functionality, just exactly what you need and not too much. But always missed an Apple Watch app! Now it came! Only for electric cars. Thank you Skoda for looking down on your internal combustion engine customers. That is a decision unfortunately I can’t appreciate.

Not fantastic
Clunky at times. Does not always tie in with the charger
Takes a while when eventually connected to provide an accurate update

App not connecting to my car
Ever since the update, my app no longer syncs to my car and I have to log into my account again on the infotainment system. Skoda support have been really quick though at responding and trying to help me problem solve this
Excellent
New user so early days but it’s been excellent so far.
Does what it says without a single glitch.

Mr.Sony
Fabulous!
Skoda Home Screen Widget
Missing Home Screen Widget for apple that can be seen for Volkswagen models so I don’t need to open phone to check charge.
App not connecting
Since the app update the app is no longer connecting to my car.
I can’t even delete the car to reload it!
Tried to delete the app and reload, but still not working!
It’s very frustrating as it was all working perfectly prior to the update!

Electric car
I’m very impressed.
It’s big enough for family duties, it is smooth, quiet and very comfortable.
Easy to drive! Love it!

Working now as it should
A few weeks ago i gave this app a very poor review because it kept stopping my charge every time i went into the app, i put a widget on my home screen which made things slightly better, the app still just randomly stopped charging, I’m pleased to report that with the recent update it seems to be working properly. Thank you Skoda.

Some good features but missing key feature
This app is good to lock car, set charge level, limit. etc.
However, it sorely lacks a timing feature.
You should be able to schedule a start time for car-charging - eg come on at 11pm and charge to 80%. This is such a basic feature. I was really surprised that it wasn’t already part of the app.
Months late - still no update on this. Why on earth is there not a timing feature so you can delay the start time of the charge?

Keeps failing
Very poor app. Consistently fails. It’s enough to question choice of vehicle. Just an update. Yet again the app has failed to connect to the car. Very frustrating.
Has stopped working
No longer shows service,no connected garage and no ability to book services anymore.
Well played Skoda!
Credit where it’s due to the Skoda App team, the surprise arrival of Camp Mode is fantastic and works flawlessly, the fact it supports previous generations of the Enyaq for free is unusually generous in a world where other companies are charging more and delivering less. Well done Skoda for continuing to make the cars even better,
Tesla better watch out!
