New update not good for the visually impaired
The recent app updates are not compatible with “zoom” text phone features that allow those with vision difficulties to see better. This requires resetting your phone to “standard” in order to arm or disarm your alarm. The old app version was better.
New update
Since this update I can no longer arm it as “Stay” in the evening! It only shows arm “Away” - Very annoying!

Slomins rolls out a new app. No warning. Completely different look. Bad colors and clarity. Unable to arm my system because the new app is formatted differently. 3 calls and multiple reinstalls and settings changes

I think it is really easy to arm and disarm the alarms and there is Face ID so no one else can disarm it without you being there
App doesn’t work
App downloads but won’t open. Service was not helpful. Angela kept saying delete and reload. Still doesn’t work. IT not in. No one there can help. Told her that is why I got Simon’s, so I can open door remotely. Have special needs child. Do not want to give out code. She tells me not under contract so basically they can’t help me so I should just leave slomins. Not an ounce of empathy. Bad for their business. So frustrating

Horrible app
This app doesn’t even open, how am I even able to control my system with an app that isn’t functioning properly. I spent two days trying to see if it was my phone and it really was just this app. So I am unable to do anything without being present at the house.
Sign in issue
I’m trying to sign in on a new device, but the app will not allow me to scroll up and agree to the terms of service. This is preventing me from signing in. Please update this. Thank you!
Notifications ?
Why don’t you have notifications for when the alarm triggers. Seems like it should be a most basic function. Please add it.

You’re app is terrible. It only has a 1.7 rating out of 5. Doesn’t work when I am away from home. Why can’t you upgrade it?
Charging for an app???
Have had this app for years and find out upon changing my service contract that not only will I have a separate service charge just for having the app but I have been getting charged for it for years?! Was never told about this when taking up the contract initially, just that it’s an “easy app” to use to alarm. Never mind the fact the app doesn’t work half the time and constantly has to be rebooted. Hate it, ridiculous, and terrible customer service & management.

Terrible App, Terrible Company
This company does not care about their customers at all! I would give this business no stars if I could! They sent a service man to our house to check our boiler and the man was extremely rude and belligerent! A company who could hire someone so horrid and do nothing about his behavior is the absolute worst! Would not recommend Slomin’s to anyone and would warn everyone I know not to sign up with them!

App doesn’t open or allow me to log in
This app is useless now (9/29/23). I can’t login, get any info about my system. Is there a replacement app?
Nice app — when it works
The app is convenient to use — when it works, but it has stopped working a couple of times, and their customer service, while helpful, has had a hard time getting it working again. With an app like this, reliability is everything. Hence: one star.

Worst app ever - huge security risk
App doesn’t work. When you call them, they blame your internet connection. When you’re on full bars, and multiple locations don’t work, then they say reinstall the app. Then when you do, and it still doesn’t work because THE APP is CRAP and broken, they just can’t help you, so you’re screwed. So the person hired to feed your fish can no longer get into your house without you giving them the security code to your house…great. Thanks Slomin a for making me feel safe. That’s sarcasm. Fix it or you will pay for my fish and the emotional distress you caused

Not good
App doesn’t always connect to the system. So I can’t arm/disarm my alarm. App is also super slow! Sometimes it will load and show the system as it is armed but usually might show armed away when it’s not armed at all or the other way around. Both apps are trash and not helpful to use when arming the security system. Almost feels like they are a security breech.

The newest update is oversized and I am not able to resize for my phone screen therefore I am now unable to use the app
