I can’t even get past entering the pin, before the app crashes. This is completely useless.
Cannot Access App on Phone
After logging in and setting up Face ID, the app will alternate login and dashboard quickly, not allowing me to access either screen.
Absolutely terrible
Apparently my PII and PHI were involved in the HCIactive breach and I was given an activation code to activate my free monitoring services from cyberscout.com and this is the app they linked to for their services. What a joke this app is completely terrible. It has places to put your info like drivers license but it’s just all text. There’s no real drivers license or passport info etc back up and their password vault is just pathetic. All of these features are free to get elsewhere and much better handled by free open source applications for example, bitwarden or good ol’ Keepass. Truly terrible and just pathetic. Poor, poor, poorly done. First they allow my information to be breached and then they provide me with the worst tools imaginable as compensation — thank you very much, but no thanks. Hopefully they do actually monitor my personal identity and credit information and in case there is some further breach I hope their support is better than these tools that they are offering. God help us all. Good luck out there and stay safe people. In the end, it is just up to us ourselves.

Constant Crashing
App constantly crashes when I use faceID or even when I do a standard login. I have reinstalled the app 4 times and it crashes as soon before the dashboard loads. Terrible app
Crashes Upon Login
Every time that I attempt to log in the app crashes. Tried updating and uninstalling and redownloading. Also tried on a different device and the same thing happens. Completely unusable app.
Cannot login
It goes into an infinite loop of requesting FaceID. The same problem has been reported years ago as I see in old reviews. Is this app even maintained? TransUnion should be shamed to put out this garbage app.
Trash
The app’s unusable right now it just keeps restarting and the facial recognition won’t even work. Definitely a 0-star experience
Cannot update
App will not let me update my password. Just keep getting a message saying “something went wrong “
Verification issues
Upon logging in, I found myself uncomfortable providing my Social Security number. To exacerbate the situation, as I entered the numbers, they were not obscured for security purposes. Consequently, I decided to abandon the account setup process.
Infinite Loop when launched
The app goes into an infinite loop when launched where it is repeatedly doing Face ID and asking for my pin.
Does not work
Got the service through my employer, website is OK, but this app simply does not work. Crash constantly, and have many unresolved issues for years (just read the other reviews). Good luck contacting customer service.
Blank Screen
After inputting login credentials, app proceeds to the dashboard screen for a split second then a blank screen appears indefinitely. At this point, the app is useless. Please fix.
Only see a blank screen.
I have had the app for two months and have yet to be able to see anything in the app. After login, the screen goes black and I never see anything. I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice.
App is bad
This app is so frustrating. Even if you have enabled a passcode or fingerprint/face recognition, it logs you out anyway. Forces you to log in even if you used the app just minutes earlier. Editing and copying is also clunky.
Fails to log user in
Created a new account on line and thought the app would be handy. App fails to accept user I’d and password. Clicked, “forgot@ and never received a re-set email - again, just set this up so I know I’m using correct log in. App fails to offer any other way to access/reset-a phone number or email. Not worth the frustration. Terrible app. Don’t use.

The app doesn’t load for over a month
I have all my passwords here, it doesn’t even load anymore. What’s going on? How am I supposed to retrieve my information? It wasn’t originally this app’s name, it was EZ shield and I never had problems with them before. Please help me!
Is this app supported?
I signed up with EZ Sheild for Identity protection and the app has since changed it’s name to MySontiq and does not load. All my passwords were stored on this app so it has been an headache resetting several passwords and finding a new app to use for passwords.
Left out to dry
Received a credit alert for activity that I didn’t not recognize, attempted to log-in with one failed attempt and proceeded to be locked out. No customer service representative was able to even read my alert said I would have to wait until Monday. When I get an alert on Saturday morning I don’t expect to have to wait until Monday. Enter with caution as this experience has made me question their reliability.

Saved Months of Headaches
When my identity was compromised, the EZShield app notified me immediately that my information was being shopped on the dark web and held my hand for months to resolve the problem and restore my identity. My dedicated technical support agent was incredible! They’re based in the US AND I had the same agent throughout the entire process!!! Absolutely love this service and worth every penny!
