A different perspective

I enjoy the app for the different perspective it gives of my favorite team(s). Only complaint I have is my fav team (the Phillies) are in the World Series but on Sunday the app switched all news to the Eagles (another fav but not what I wanted to read about). I was unable to find anything to switch the app back to baseball. The next day it had gone back on its own. Need a way (or at least one you can find) to switch between teams or sports.

Live Video is Okay at Best

The streams work, yes, but if you need to turn off rotation lock, the stream will pause. If you rotate the screen, the stream will freeze completely 30% of the time. There’s no Picture in Picture support. There’s so air play support either. No video scrubbing. The “go live” button will occasionally work too. If you press the “go live” button too soon after opening the app to resume a feed, the entire UI just stops responding and doesn’t go to the live location.

The live video “works” but not well. Surprised this made it to customers at all. Needs major support and updates.

Fix the connection…

App will not open when it is connected to WiFi. WiFi needs to be turned off to even get the app to open. If I’m lucky enough to get it to open, the game will not cast to my smart tv. I have watched Phillies baseball this way for the last couple of years, and I’ve never had this issue. It gets hung up on the MyTeams Sports logo and it will not go any further. The game will not load, despite my phone believing it is connected fine. This last only been happening since last Wednesday. Prior to that, I rarely had an issue. Please someone look into this and see what has changed since last Wednesday.

Buggy, not fully intuitive

It kinda gets the job done, but it is not fully intuitive and is buggy…

- not clear how to switch between teams you’ve added, nor does it really show you what teams are there. It took a LOT of playing to figure out how to switch from one team to another

- app starts in portrait mode, even if you’re in landscape mode. It will switch to landscape mode if you move your iPad back to portrait mode and then rotate, but it doesn’t just figure out how to do it on its own.

- sometimes, it will only play the live video stream inside a window with no options to get it into a full screen. Other times, it will put you into full screen mode with no ways to get out of it and back to the app. There are no controls on this, and fully restarting the app doesn’t guarantee results one way or another. This needs to be fixed!! Also, when it switches to landscape mode, the video becomes too large for the screen and some of it is cut off on both sides.

- it talks about notifications, but I saw nothing about what you want to be notified about and when…

This app also needs to allow for Picture in Picture mode, where I can hit the home button and get out of the app and still get the video in a small window in the corner on my iPad.

Please make this more intuitive and user friendly, and please fix the bugs described above.

Resuming the live stream is always buggy

Whenever I close the app to answer a message or check a score in another app, I come back to a video stream that is stuck on a commercial loop, or cannot be “caught up” using “Go to live.”

I’d love the ability to see the video become “picture in picture” across apps like the NFL or the TNT apps. Having to force quit to continue watching live is a pain.

Additionally, the live scores in the popover are frequently laggy. I’d be okay with a “refresh” button to manually trigger them.
