It’s 2026 fix your app!

Camera seems to never work and it was really difficult to sign up in the first place. You can just get AI to make a better app than this.

Login Does Not Save

It’s unfortunate that the login does not save successfully which requires you to always enter your username and password. This a huge inconvenience when you use the app frequently. Someone should be resolve this this with the next build release.

Awful app

Just downloaded app after dropping my dog off. The app is awful, cameras won’t connect. After reading other reviews, this has been terrible for years. Pretty sad the developers can’t fix these issues after years. Maybe they need new people working on the app, won’t be using Wag again.

Always a pain

First off, the app logs you off even when you ask to be kept logged in. Then, it wont let me out log in to see your pup. Tried password reset, delete and reinstall the app…nothing. Now we have no visibility into how our pup is doing:( they need a better app

It’s ok

The camera are kinda blurry and you can’t really see but otherwise it’s very good and doesn’t lag.But the hotel is very good we tried a different hotel and they said our dogs didn’t want to go in and to try again or a different place so we tried Wag hotel and our dogs went in their hotel very early with no hesitation and it’s VERY safe.

Camera only works after re-install

The suite camera works once. Then you have to delete the app and reinstall. Then the camera works one more time. Then delete and reinstall. How could the developers be so incompetent?

Cameras offline

Continued issues with camera access on the app being offline. I’ve never had any issue with the app until now but it is continual. And yes, I am using the latest version.

Wag cam unusable

I’ve taken my dog to Wag maybe 5 times in the past year. Each time, the cam has been so frustrating to use. Good luck trying to even see anything. Most of the time, the cam turns up blank. If you try to use full screen or zoom in, the video freezes. I’d love to see my dog because I really miss him. I’m considering taking him to another dog hotel simply because they have a better cam app.

Love wag hotels, hate the app

I love sending my dog to daycare and boarding at Wag Hotels, but the app is awful. The camera links rarely work. My login info is never saved and face recognition doesn’t work. I uploaded vaccine records via the app and still get calls/emails asking me for them. It’s a complete mess.

I LOVE MY DOGS

MY DOGS ARE THE GREATEST, THEY ARE THE BEST DOGS TO EVER BE IN THE WORLD. The first day we got them the sun was shining bright outside it was nice weather and it was the best day of my life!

Ellie is one SASSY DOGGIE. She is soooooo growly at me and it’s sooo annoying. She is an ADORABLE LITTLE DOGO I HAVE TO ADMIT. I just LOVEEEEE her floppy ears they go up and down and up and down.

Fiona is one old dog. She loves the cuddles though. She is THE PIGHT OF MY LIFE, I have loved her every second, every minute, every hour, everyday, and every year.

This is why my dogs are the best I <3 them.

So far, 100% unusable

Really frustrated, can’t even sign-in to use or view any of the features. This was my first time using Wag hotels, so when they told me about the camera feature I was super excited to be able to view my dog during his stay. Literally the log in page just loaded several MINUTES, not seconds, MINUTES. I attempted 10+ times and actually waited for about 4-5mins each time, thought I was going insane.

Tried it all again several hrs later, and still nothing. Tried updating the app, tried updating my phone, tried deleting the app completely and redownloading. Nothing. This app is literally unusable.

App doesn’t work

If I could give it zero stars I would. Have been taking my pets to this hotel for years and the app has only gotten worsens the last two times I tried to use it, cameras don’t work.

Nearly unusable app

I can’t switch between the cameras on my iPhone. If I turn my phone on it’s side for landscape mode, sometimes I can get the camera to switch. Very frustrating! The Paradise 4 paws app was better before wag bought them out.

I feel like my dog helped code this app

The “Keep me logged” checkmark on the sign in page, which I assume is meant to read “Keep me logged in” does not work. If you quit the app you have to sign in again.

The wag cam screen is missing cameras (for the SF location) and constantly shows Nest advertisements, including after viewing a camera. If you expand the camera view to fullscreen, then rotate your device to landscape, the video stops playing and says the camera is no longer available.

I’m guessing the app was made with a cross platform framework that hosts the web pages from the site. The navigation is clunky, the layout and text are inconsistent, the top and bottom menu bars are not spaced correctly, and animations are choppy (on an iPhone 12 Pro).

Fortunately the reservation and report card screens are functional so I am thankful for that.

Overall the app does not feel like the premium brand that Wag Hotels wants to be (and charges for).

Wag Cams are only accessible while your pup is checked in, to maintain privacy for all our clients. Our Play area Cameras are active between the hours of 10am-6pm. If your pup is staying in a Suite, the camera will be available 24 hours during their stay. App Not Fixed

Going back to my original thoughts on this app. At first it was completely unusable, the team helped me get it fixed. Now I cannot book anything some features are great but some just do not work. #headache
