Unable to find meeting

There is good information in other areas of the app…
BUT this app is not user friendly. I remember it used to offer an NA icon for a person to select the area they’re interested in but now it doesn’t offer anything.

Not much

Use crossroads app for meetings

It’s not even a meeting search

It literally just takes you to the NA website which also is not a meeting search 😒

Does not work at all.

App will not auto detect my location. When I manually enter my city and hit search, nothing happens. App and iPhone SW both updated etc. It’s a shame as I was hoping it would be awesome like the AA meeting finder.

Sends you to browser

Wish it was like the AA meeting app. Easy to use, simple with all meetings in the app, where the NA Meeting Search sends you to an internet browser to search. The browser website it sends you too also isn’t updated and doesn’t have your local meetings ready to view.

Very Disappointed!.

It’s basically just a shortcut to the website. Was expecting an app similar to the AA Meeting Finder but most of the features just send you to the NA website, which doesn’t work very well to find a meeting… if at all, sometimes. It’s useful if you know of no other resources but I would not recommend this app or the website if you’re looking for an in person meeting.

Used to be useful

I’m not sure why, but they changed how you find meetings and it’s trash. He used to be able to see all your local meetings that were daily and weekly, had times and locations. Make it harder on the newcomers? You achieved it.

What happened!

This is not the app I remember. This app is useless

Just links to website, only useful for JFT/SPAD

I was hoping this would be helpful for quickly checking meeting schedules, but it just sends you to the NA website, where you have to jump through multiple hoops to find meetings near you, since it's the global NA website, not your local state/region's.

I will admit, it is cool that it gives easy access to the JFT and SPAD readings, but so does my state's NA website, which also gives me an easy and intuitive way to find meetings in my area that contains more information about each meeting than what I could find on the global NA.org website, and shows local NA events near me, which the global NA.org website does not.

I simply made a bookmark/shortcut for my state's NA website link and made my own "app," and I suggest everyone else do the same, it's a pretty simple process and you'll be glad you did :) I don't remember off the top of my head how to make a Safari shortcut for your home screen, and I don't know how it works at all if your default browser is Chrome or anything other than Safari, but Google will explain it better than I could anyway, lol.

If the app is updated to where meetings can be found in the app without bringing you to an external website, I may redownload it, but for now, it is not very convenient or user-friendly. If I'm going to have to be redirected to an external site anyway, I might as well make a shortcut icon for my home screen that links directly to my state's NA website, as it lets me find the information I need more quickly, and gives me more information, period.

Sadly, this app is a good example of "brilliant concept, but terrible execution." I say this not to be harsh, but because I think the idea of an official NA app is fantastic but this one needs improvement in order to be useful for more than just the daily readings, IMHO. Again, if the app is updated to give convenient meeting information within the app itself, I will likely redownload it and change my review, as I think the concept is great and the easy access to the daily JFT/SPAD readings is a pretty cool feature :)

What happened to the app?

When i fist got to the rooms, the app was so easy to select my area and gave me a drop down of meetings. Now it’s only showing me area meetings after redirecting to a terribly built website.

Why?

The new update ruined this app.

This app is worthless

Only way you might find a meeting on this thing is if you’re high.

This app is jenky as h3ll

I really liked when I could find meetings in the app, but now it just directs me to my area na website, so there’s not any point in me using this dumb app. Most people are using this app to find meetings, not sure why they took away the most important feature. -50 aura

The update ruined it

It used to be so easy to find a meeting within a certain radius, now it is hard to navigate or actually find a meeting.

Love this app!!

I’m surprised to read that some folks have issues with this app because I love it! I open it and it has my clean time and that makes my day, every single day! And I read the JFT, SPAD, and can find a meeting - either in person or on Zoom - very easily. I’ve been using this app for years and have never had issues with it. I also love that I can “select all” of the text and click “speak” and it’ll be read to me. This is a 5-star app!!!

The update ruined what used to be a great resource!

This app was my favorite and a staple in my recovery for YEARS! The version 12 update that stopped listing meetings ruined this app and made it unrecognizable from the resource I knew and loved. If NAWS and the WSC had anything to do with this YOU’RE KILLING ADDICTS!!!!

The update made the app useless

Why they took the meeting finder away is a mystery to me. If I wanted to open up na.org and use their terrible meeting search function I could do so without an app.

Meeting finder?

What happened to the meeting finder? Why did it change to something that doesn’t seem to work? Doesn’t make any sense…..

THE UPDATE IS AWFUL

Whoever updated this to direct you to a website needs to be fired. It directs me to one website, makes me type in my zip code, then when I click the Dallas area it directs me to another website but not even to the meeting part of the website. So I have to hit the drop-down button and hit meetings. Everything was literally fine before just a few times needed to be updated. Hope y’all change it back, your making it harder for a newcomer to find a meeting.

Terrible update

The meeting finder used to be great. You could find a meeting based on location with list or map view. That no longer works after the update now it takes you to the worthless NA website and you have to put in a zip code and it still doesn’t help. CHANGE IT BACK. THE WEBSITE NEEDS UPDATED TOO. sincerely, a member.
