Poor app

Stop logging me out randomly. Allow FaceId login. Allow auto fill username/password. These are basics that can easily be implemented with a quick Google search. Your iOS developers are subpar and inexperienced. Stop cheaping out with your app and implement simple features.

Old looking UI

The 1990s called, they want their app back. This app could use some updating to catch up with phone technology. We now have face and fingerprint ID that let’s people log into the system. This app won’t even give a “save username and password” option.

Pathetic

Litterally one of the most pathetic attempts at neighborhood management. I complete all the info and am sent a text that we will verify in seven days that your an owner. Absolutely pathetic

Error: 403 Forbidden pops up

Error pops up- can’t get on !!!

Save/Print Financials & other documents

What does one need to do to save to a file or print what was accessed. This program seems very lacking!

Essential for a NABR community

This system is really intuitive and easy to use. You can make reservations for your community amenities and keep up to date on what’s happening in your neighborhood. There are a ton of useful features in it.

Unable to open docs

Any document that is uploaded into the app for my neighborhood, I can not scroll past the first page! Ver inconvenient!

Soooooo outdated it’s a joke

Please update this app already! The interface is to fit the first iPhone ever made. Doesn’t fill my screen, is clunky and ugly and awful to use. You can’t see an entire file. Pure garbage.

Seriously needs an update

I like the intent behind this app, but the interface looks and feels like it hasn’t been updated since 2013. It’s very clunky, limited, and awkward to use on a modern iPhone. Please bring this app into the 2020s!

Update the app

Is that app even serviced anymore? Update 3 years ago. Stop being lazy

Doesn’t work

Just did an update on my iPhone and NABR does not open. I am therefore unable to get important messages from my community or important communication.

This app looks like it hasn’t been updated for 10 years

The keypad, the display are using maybe iPhone 4 configurations.

Update this

This is bad. This is not good. This is bad for your image. You don’t need anybody to explain why this app is crap, you just know it. Fix it or just remove it and replace it with the way you actually want your customers to interact with you.

Fast, powerful and easy to use

At first I was not sure was going to be a great app as we started using it around 2017 as an alternative to our HOAs maintained website. I must say this is a really awesome app, especially if you can get the work order feature enabled. I say this as both a board member and owner that uses the app fairly heavily.

On the work order function that alone is really awesome. It is very easy to snap a pic on your phone, and with a couple taps out in a work order. It auto-fills your info and you can even put in an order for another address if you want to help another owner: in addition, as a board member it is easy to provide oversight of work orders as there is a special area on the app you can see where these come in and the dialog with timestamps.

One caveat - you must have an administrator that knows how to organize things on the backend so it shows up as easy to find for example, categories under “resources”. It seems like a common theme with HOA issues is the people at the management companies may have too much on their plates at times so that can show up here. This helps organize stings and make them easy to access though.

The other thing I’ll say is that originally I saw the app was not updated recently so I was not sure it would last or remain stable. It seems like they do somehow push updates on the backend though that show up as new features or menus. So don’t judge the app based on that alone.

They have been responsive to feedback on improving the app. I am a software engineer professional of a couple decades and I can usually spot a bad app or program in about 5 minutes.

This is an oasis of refreshment and productivity in a often parched desert of HOA management.

2 years since an update???

This app is clunky, out of date, and needs serious overhaul. I feel like I’m back on iOS 6 and it’s 2012 again.

Needs updated - still not for iPhone X

App is old, doesn’t utilize the iPhone X screen real estate.

Remember the login info!

I don’t see why this app can’t remember the login info.

Collapse Feed Threads

Nice to have an app for the community message board, but this feels so clunky.

I keep expecting to be able to click a thread title and go into a new window where I can scroll comments, then go back to the feed.

Nope, ALL the comments for all the threads are in the main feed. Can’t imagine how messy that will get eventually. Will become unusable at some point. Pretty basic feature & a must-add in my opinion.

Overall feels like it needs an overall refresh.

Thank you for your review. Our app has recently been updated, and the update included several UI fixes intended to modernize the user experience. One of the recent updates included collapsing text areas for some types of posts and replies so as to conserve screen space and make the Community Feed easier to scroll.

Worthless!

Our POA uses this app for our neighborhood. Can’t type up a full post without it refreshing, losing everything you type then having to start over. Won’t let you post more than one picture. Even if I click on “follow replies” on certain posts it won’t notify me.

Could be better

I’d recommend Next Door. Nabr is supposed to be for your own neighborhood and your HOA management company. Well, not everyone uses this app and everyone in my neighborhood uses the Next Door app. The local HOA management company seems to not utilize this app anyways. Reinstalled to see if anything was new. Still old looking layout and a social ghost town.
