Don’t mess with this thermal printer; worked good until it didn’t in less than a year, wasted a roll of labels fuqing with it.
great app but my battery on my printer is being confusing
I love this printer so much but it told me that my battery was low and now when I plug it in it isn’t charging and it just happened suddenly and I don’t know what to do with it because it was working and then stopped working after giving me a battery warning saying that I need to plug it in so I plugged it in but there wasn’t a flashing green light like it usually does when charging and I don’t know what to do

Cool printer
So far I haven’t experienced any problems with the printer or app, mine connected to my iPhone BT without any issue, a little bit of a learning curve to adjust the letters and font size and the formatting of the paper to place how I want the label layout to look, now I have labels on everything lol…

Border is not loading
I’ve loved this printer so far it’s been great for labeling my plants as I started planning my garden seeds overly early this summer. I used a few of the images and borders. I hadn’t tried to do so again until today the app is up-to-date. I have proper Wi-Fi. I have my Bluetooth on and connected to the printer. It’s charged plenty but the images for border options just spin and spin and refused to load and I don’t understand why.

Worked great, then…
It was working great until it did an update and now the borders won’t work on the app. I was trying to get some work stuff done with it and now I can’t use it like I wanted to!
Cute & Fun
I use the small printed images for personalizing greeting cards, letters, gifts, and tuck them in as surprise gifts.
Not bad for basic thermal printing
The software really isn’t bad—if you want bad, go try some of the bargain thermal printers floating around on everyone’s favorite “jungle” marketplace. This one just works. It’s not the best out there, but it’s nowhere near the worst either.
Most issues people run into will likely come down to Bluetooth, not the software itself. In a typical home, you’ve got a crowded 2.4GHz space with tons of devices competing for signal, so connection hiccups aren’t surprising. Usually, the strongest and most stable signal will be closest to your computer.
As for usability, it’s straightforward: install, connect, and print. Adding fields and text is intuitive, and the software even handles firmware updates when needed. It also works across multiple operating systems, so you’re not locked into Apple, Microsoft, Android, or Linux—there’s support for all of them.
Bottom line: be patient, and if you hit a snag, reach out to support. I don’t usually bother reviewing apps or software, but after trying dozens of these small printers over the years—and dealing with some truly awful companion apps—this one deserves a fair shot. YMMV

Not sure what everyone’s Problem is?
I used this to connect, then update the firmware of my Nada D21 printer and everything worked great. It was straightforward and very easy to set up. It’s very simple and fast to print out things from the app. One minor critique is that the in app note editor can be a finicky, but it’s not work docking at stars off. Very pleased with the app!

For the love of god please slide the tab that secures the labels into place before review bombing.
If you’re having paper registry problems with the labels your machine came with. And you’re saying it’s from the paper being loose inside, skipping pages, wrinkling, misalignment or read issues…
Please check inside for two usually circular sliders you slot your labels between. One side will slide down to LOCK YOUR LABEL INTO PLACE SO ITS NOT FREE BALLING IN THERE. I have 4 different label makers and this one is the most precise, just lock your roll of labels into place I’m begging. That is the sole reason it’s printing weird for you. 😭
And for the connectivity- you need to read the instructions on your device! I just printed from my iPhone 13 printed with the N10 truebird. It says to connect through the app not your phone! The warning and a QR code is plastered on a sticker KEEPING THE PRODUCT SHUT. 😭 I don’t understand how this gets ignored!?

i think the app itself has decent functionality, it has quite a few options for customization HOWEVER i could not get the paper to line up properly inside and print anything correctly at all. i couldn’t get the itself to line up correctly inside the printer half of the time, and even if i did, no matter how i tried to align the text or change the sizing, the text would always get cut off and sometimes print on two label pieces at once. sometimes it wouldn’t even skip one label and print nothing on it. definitely disappointed, bc it has so much potential :/
even if it is user error for not being able to fit the label paper inside correctly, i think it should be a bit more dummy proof???

my mom got this printer and never used it so i gave it a try and OH MY GOSH IT IS SO COOL! i’m printing out so many stickers and i’m gonna give them to my friends and stick em up all over my school like a maniac. i’ve already printed out like 4 “Banana Jareth” labyrinth memes to give to my friends and theatre teacher.
only downside, i thought, was that it didnt print in color. but my friends and i are art students anyways and colored it in (my friend gave her Jareth bisexual hair lol) so it didnt seem to be that much of a problem

Not compatible with iPhone 13
I have an iPhone 13 and was unable to connect the printer to my app/phone regardless of everything I tried. Same as another review I tried restarting the printer and app, turning Bluetooth on and off and when trying to connect on Bluetooth it shows a message that says N12A is not supported which is very irritating. I am unable to return the printer so it seems it’s definitely a waste of money

Normally I only review games, but I think this is important. I think what I write might go for all models, but only goes for the D21 for sure. The short version is this: it works. It has a few inconveniences, but is fully functional. Here’s the detailed version: setting it up is frustrating. As someone who’s set up 3D printers before, I know the feeling. The instructions are fairly clear and easy to follow, but then you run into a problem. You can’t print. Sometimes you print one thing, and then it stops working. Sometimes it says there’s no paper. Sometimes it says it finished printing. Here’s what’s happening: when you finish printing something (and sometimes fresh out of the box) it makes a small gap between the paper and the sticker paper that was printed on, right below your print. It will refuse to print on imperfect paper, even if you can barely notice the flaws. Any other damage, such as a crease, will also prevent it from printing. This can be easily fixed by opening up the top and pulling the paper further out so that the printer doesn’t have to confront the unusable paper. This is annoying because this wastes a lot of paper, but you can always buy more. But this also causes a lot of panic by making new users believe that their printer didn’t work. If the developers are reading this, please place a note about this in the instructions.

D20 printer not Apple compatible
Ipad mini 5th gen and iphone 16 both claim they cannot support the bluetooth connection. After it worked successfully enough for my ipad to connect to recognize the device to get the app to work. So the device is a fancy brick of junk.

It does not detect the paper, it starts printing then says to install consumables correctly
App is required to use the device.
I have an iPhone 14 and an iPad 6 mini. I downloaded the app on both. Both detect the device as N12A under “other” in Bluetooth settings. Both have Bluetooth enabled at the app level.
Neither will pair this printer to device. I’ve tried in the app. I’ve tried from the Bluetooth menu in settings. At the Bluetooth menu Apple declares the N12A printer “incompatible” with both the iPhone 14 and the iPad 6 mini.
I did the things. Restarted the devices and little printer. Turned Bluetooth on and off.

Popups. Trying to pair from the app side of things just times out, likely due to the incompatibility.
