What's New in NAM Live

1.2.0

July 18, 2026

** NEW: Transpose Block — drop-tune your whole rig in real time. Detune, drop-tune or octave-down, polyphonic and low-latency, no re-stringing required. ** NEW: Impulse Response Reverb block — a convolution reverb loaded with IRs captured from a very well-loved modern classic reverb unit (Ambience, Chamber, Hall, Plate and Nonlin) — or import your own IRs. ** NEW: PolyG octave generator — polyphonic octave up effects and more. stack an octave a fifth and +2 octaves for organ-like pads and shimmering leads. use them before a reverb for crystal like shimmer effects. ** NEW: Stereo Looper (updated from mono) — record, overdub and play loops right in your chain with a full stereo image. Half-speed, reverse, and full MIDI + footswitch transport control. ** NEW: Tone3000 tone browser — browse captures with big artwork, descriptions, author and download counts. One tap auditions a tone on your rig; a double-tap loads it. Your rig now shows the capture's photo, too. ** NEW: Clear Preset — double-tap a preset slot to clear it (or reset a morph back to its primary tone). ** IMPROVED: Library — organise your captures into folders (create, rename, delete), with recursive search, scrolling names on narrow screens and a cleaner browser. ** IMPROVED: Play alongside other apps is now on by default — jam over a backing track or another instrument. Added a Classic Cab Level option if you preferred the older cab volume. ** FIXED: Greater stability — resolved crashes around preset switching, screen rotation and backgrounding, and rig artwork now loads reliably in Live view.

This app is like a dream come true

All you need is an audio/MIDI-interface, like the Xsonic Xtone Smart Stomp, and your IOS-device! I‘ve got an old iPad, 8. gen. and the app runs without any problems! Luke, the developer works hard to update the app several times a week! You can load even more than just one NAM-A2-captures and you have all the live-functionality you need! Just 15 bucks to transform your iPad into some kinda Quad Cortex?! Sounds too good to be true, but believe me, this app is really like a dream com true! Thanks to Luke! 🙏❤️
