Almost exclusively obscure names…
Response from developer
Ernmarmil, 2.0.0 went out last week. The free app now has the Nameberry website except the forums, so you can search and browse by style and origin instead of only swiping the deck. If the names still feel wrong after you update, tell me the style you wanted.
It's okay
However, if you already have a Nameberry account with liked names, it will often ask you to swipe on a name you have already liked and it doesn't import the names you already like onto your liked list. So despite Nameberry's comment to a previous review, it really doesn't take into account the names you've liked in that way. It would be great if the account lists synched.
It is also annoying that you can click on a name you like and see information about similar names, but you can't add them to your list. You also can't just search a name and add it.
Needs More
Response from developer
The names on the app follow your taste, so if you like rare names, or a lot of your favorites on Nameberry are unique, it suggests more rare names. If you swipe left on all those "weird" names you're encountering, you should start seeing some less obscure choices. You're following a trail, but you're also creating a trail.
Amazing baby name app
Love it!
Response from developer
Thank you, so happy you like it! Now names you swipe and save and match on the app connect to your account on Nameberry, where you can use them to build new lists.
