Nariboo

This update is mostly about speed. Nariboo should feel noticeably smoother on every screen. FASTER • Scrolling in Search, Map, Hotlist and Saved is smoother — lists no longer re-blur the background on every frame. • Quicker start-up: the app no longer waits on background checks before drawing the first screen. • Map pins appear and group faster, and stop rebuilding when nothing has actually changed. • Posters now load at the size they are displayed at, so the app uses far less memory. • Only one video plays at a time, which means less battery drain and less heat. FIXED • City search finds real cities as you type. Searching "Antalya" now returns Antalya, not a district inside it. • Organiser names appear on event pages instead of the word "Organizer". • On the Map, picking a city loads that city's events straight away instead of reloading the area you just left. • The my-location button works again. • No more stale thumbnails flashing when you change a filter. • The swipe deck no longer replays the undo animation when you change a filter. • Clearing the cache or signing out now clears everything, including events held in memory. NEW • Events can show Tickets and Source links where the organiser has provided them. • Events imported by Nariboo are clearly labelled as such, with a way to flag bad data. BEHIND THE SCENES • Added crash reporting so problems get found and fixed faster. Crash reports contain no account details, email address or location — Profile › Legal › Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is and is not included.
