About
Congratulations! You're in charge of an entire nation.
Condolences! You're in charge of an entire nation.
NationCraft is a government and economy simulator where every month is a fresh chance to look brilliant, or to explain to an angry mob why bread costs $400. Set taxes, steer the central bank, enact policies, issue bonds, and answer 3 a.m. cabinet briefings. Every choice has trade-offs. There are no perfect answers. (We checked.)
A CALM COMMAND CENTER
Your whole nation on four clean tabs, designed so your eyes stay calm while your country burns. Color means something here: good, worrying, start drafting your resignation speech.
Overview: a six-axis radar of national strength, plus GDP and treasury trends
Economy: tax sliders, the central-bank rate, sectors, trade, and a full budget ledger
Govern: a 30-policy tree across 6 branches, citizen happiness, corruption, immigration
Finance: bond markets with live yields, a credit rating, and a sovereign wealth fund
DECISIONS WITH WEIGHT
Over 120 events can interrupt your rule: earthquakes, currency crises, tech bubbles (and their pops), scandals, and rare high-stakes surprises. Time politely pauses, your cabinet briefs you, and one tap decides. Choices echo for months. No pressure.
FIVE WAYS TO LOSE YOUR JOB (PERMANENTLY)
Bankruptcy. Revolution. Coup. Hyperinflation. Population: zero. The treasury can run dry, the streets can turn, the generals can get ideas. Watch your vitals like your reign depends on it. It does.
CHASE THE GOLDEN AGE
Complete the policy tree, reach 0% corruption, retire the debt, and keep nine conditions green for twelve straight months. Do that and history remembers you fondly. Then keep ruling, if you dare.
THREE NATIONS, FOUR DIFFICULTIES
Developing Nation: young, hopeful, suspiciously dependent on foreign aid
Established Democracy: mature institutions, mature problems
Failing State: already on fire when you arrive
From Easy to Brutal. Brutal is exactly what it sounds like.
ALSO IN THE BOX
A live intel ticker: deadpan dispatches from across your nation
Real economics: inflation that de-anchors, credit ratings that gate your borrowing, demographics that age
16 achievements and a Game Center leaderboard
On-demand help on every section: learn as you rule, tap the info icon when confused
Autosave + three save slots (for your three parallel regimes)
100% offline completely free, no ads, no tracking. Just you and the consequences.
How long can YOU stay in power?

Your country gets a map, generated from its own name, so the same name always gives you the same country. Crazy mode now hands you one of twelve constraints: no sales tax, no income tax, a central bank that has stopped taking your calls. Each takes a control away and leaves you to govern without it. The economy behaves now. Growth converges as your nation gets rich instead of compounding forever. Taxes need consent, which depends on the services you provide, whether you are trusted with the money, and whether it comes back or just piles up. Trade stopped punishing success. Coups answer whether you are losing control, not merely whether you are unpopular. Sound and settings screen arrives.
