Offline maps • Real offline map tiles — new OfflineMapTileService.swift (239 lines) actually downloads and stores map tiles, and fixes a false "offline" badge that showed when tiles weren't really cached. • Offline download surfaced on Saved Plans rows so you can grab a plan for offline use directly from the list (SavedPlansView.swift, +164 lines). Updated the offline help copy to explain downloadable tiles (HelpLibrary.swift). PDF export overhaul • One continuous page for plan, Trip, and Wantlist PDFs instead of paginated output; dropped the "Dossier" label throughout. • Two-column species layout across all PDFs, filled row-by-row, with a column divider rule. • Big rewrites of PlanDossierPDFRenderer, TripItineraryPDFRenderer, and WantlistPDFRenderer. Planner UI / navigation redesign • Replaced the mode/species/location FABs with a Liquid Glass tab bar; renamed the "Location" tab to "Current." • Moved the map-tools dock to top-trailing (opens downward), height-matched to the search bar. • Relocated status/error banners under the search bar, restyled them as glass cards, and fixed the "View List" button overlapping the banner stack (now bottom-left on iPhone). Most of this lands in PlannerView.swift (+494 lines). Monetization & App Store compliance • First-launch Terms of Use gate (TermsGateView.swift + TermsPreference.swift) responding to App Store rejection 1.2 / 2.3.6; added review notes. • Softer Pro pitch: a "Go Pro" CTA now always appears on the monthly-limit banner, and the upgrade prompt waits until you've hit the free limit twice. Ranking & data quality • Merge same-species records across sources in the RankingEngine so a species from multiple sources shows once. • Resolve common names + thumbnails for GBIF species (RankedResultImageEnricher, TaxonMetadataCache). • Stopped a spurious "Could not get your location" banner appearing on navigation pop. • New tests added: OfflinePlanStoreTests.swift (+99) and additions to the Core test suite.
