A pure blessing
I used to go to YouTube for my nature stuff but all the audio there humongous portion of it. It’s heavily processed. They take out the imperfections of nature and they make it too smooth and it was bugging me or you get the artificial sounding stuff with the repeating loops over and over again. I just found this app a few days ago. There’s actually a story that led me to you guys. I was in the car and we were on our way back home and we wound up having an accident involving a deer. The car did sustain some damage, but we were all OK. The car was the last thing on my mind, though I was more concerned for our safety and then after I processed all that grief for the animal hit me really hard. I was needing something extremely specific. At first I searched on YouTube and well yeah no luck because my search terms were too specific. All I was really needing was recordings of deer just being dear without human activity around and I found you guys shortly after that. So from the bottom of my heart thank you. It is a little wonky with VoiceOver. Once I got used to the interface. It’s not intolerable.

Great soundscapes
This is my go to app for quite immersive content and it’s been a great experience.

Nature is the Best Medicine
I use the app daily. I live in a city and miss the sounds of nature in the countryside. Natural sounds are great medicine for waking up and winding down. Way better imo than all the meditation and sound apps. I’ve use Calm, Headspace, and others, been an Endel subscriber, tried Apple Music’s recently released “Sound Therapy” playlists, but in terms of the effect of sound on mental health I don’t think anything compares.
On that not, I’d love to see the app lean into this angle a little more than “sounds for sleep” or simply tailoring it towards nature enthusiasts. Those are good, but I think there is something here for mental health especially for those of living in cities without easy access to natural areas.
Anyway, thank you for a great app!

Fantastic app but the annual subscription price is bonkers particularly when the fantastic content is already free, and annual sub only gets you a few small in-app extras. Annual sub should be half price imo.
Update: I think the developer is forgetting who needs who more. We’ll simply move on to another app but they’re trying to make a living, so I highly recommend they lower their crazy annual price before they cease to exist.

Absolutely love this! From the overall concept to the design and execution, everything is amazing. The ability to listen to nature sounds from around the world is a wonderful idea. The sound quality is exceptional, making you feel truly immersed in nature.
The design is top-notch as well. You can tell a lot of work has gone into it, from the illustrations to the map animations. Truly a beautiful app!

Really great surprise
wanted to find a new app for our son to listen to nature sounds in the evening before sleep, and I was very pleasantly surprised with Earth.fm! I think it’s a gem for anyone seeking relaxation, calming down in tbe evening. The soundscapes are incredible and well-recorded. I especially love the diverse playlists and the nature sounds map. Supporting a charity with every use makes this app even more meaningful. Highly recommended!

Perfect for meditation and sleep
Over the last year, Earth fm has transformed my meditation practice and sleep quality. Now that they launched an app, i will probably end up using it even more . A must have for anyone looking to unwind.
