Hard to use

Very complex app. Not easy and not finding what I need.

Horrible experience

Not accurate for estimating medication cost

The app is not accurate for medication cost comparison between pharmacies. A medication I take showed as $8 on the app at Safeway, but ended up costing me $36. The pharmacy called my insurance and then I called Navitus support but nobody could explain the discrepancy. This is the whole point of having the app do it is basically useless.

I agree, it’s Lacking

About the same complaint as the Lacking review plus does not include information that is given in the web portal.

Not useful

This app really is not useful. It only provides information that i already know. Would be nice to be able to see status of PAs or formularys.

Digital ID card section almost unreadable

Under my profile the digital id card section has a giant white screen with the digital card only visible line by line it’s very hard to see the card in the app

Response from developer

Thank you for reporting this. We will be investigating the Digital ID card concern. Again, your feedback and understanding as we work to improve is greatly appreciated. Best, Navitus Health Solutions

useless

Worthless for finding availability and pricing of drugs

Disappointing lack of info

Downloaded the app since the Navitus website is terrible on mobile. The app is almost worse - I am looking up various medications that say they are restricted to a diagnosis, but there is no way to see what that diagnosis is. This app could be so much better. Additionally, why can’t I use my password manager to log in? It’s like this app came from 20 years ago.

Response from developer

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your experience was not a positive one and are working on solutions for this. Password Manager functionality is currently only available for our member portal. Restricted to diagnosis (RDX) details are unfortunately not available in the mobile app at this time. We recognize that this process may be challenging to navigate. The Navitus Customer Care team can be reached at 844-268-9789. Our agents are available to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Doesnt work

Every-time you search for meds it just send you to error 😩

App freezes

App locks up on pharmacy map screen when you add a favorite pharmacy

App accessible

It may be more the company itself, but the app seems to do the basics. But more info on your prior authorization status and or approval length is helpful. Not alot of self help. You have to keep calling to gain info needed on this process. In the app itself never encountered any bugs.

Prescriptions

I have never been so unhappy with a prescription insurance. It does not tell me what my policy benefits are and does not cover ANY weight loss benefits. I was on wagovy and lost 20 pounds changed jobs got new insurance and guess what they do not pay for it. I guess I will have to have a heart attack first for them to help! You think something would be covered since you are trying to get healthy. I was just starting to feel good now I am in the same boat as I was such a disappointment!

Lacking

The Navitus app is severely lacking in abilities. I can look at which medications I’m currently taking. Search for new ones - if I know the correct name. Find a pharmacy and how much the drug should cost (but not if it’s in stock). Call to talk to someone about mail ordering a drug that has to be renewed every month by new prescription - what a pain in the . And see what I’ve taken in the last 2 years. Great. However I can’t add the one medication that I had a severe reaction to to an allergy list because there isn’t an allergy list. I can’t send my monthly renewal prescription (or any scripts for that matter) to a pharmacy. It doesn’t even show the closest pharmacy to me. If I want to mail order my meds I have to call and talk to someone? Not gonna happen. I don’t even understand mail order. For one med I have to get retested every 6 months. So not only do I have to see a dr but now I have to call and change my script too? No thanks. This app could be useful. Instead it’s just informational. Not awesome.

Bad customer service and App hasn’t worked

App will not pull up or display any pricing. Called customer service, no help. One rep pretended they didn’t hear me. Second one stayed silent on the line. Kept line open, failed to answer me. I’d give negative stars if allowed

Verification Does Not Work for Mobile Phone

I enter my phone number and it says it sent a verification code that I have to enter to confirm; however, no code ever comes to my phone despite multiple attempts. Please fix this.

Find pharmacy not working

Would be nice if it would work.

Impossible to open an account

Unable to open an account due to application malfunction: an error message pops up every time the DoB is filled in, even the data is correct. Of course, from that step, you cannot go further. What else to say about an application which is not useable since the beginning?

Constant frustration

If Navitus is your PBM, get this app, you need it. It feels like a necessary evil though. I constantly have to sign in, but I can’t do it with a password manager like LastPass (please fix!). Also medications that ARE NOT COVERED say with a nice green check mark “Covered/Not Covered 100% Member”. It really drags you along thinking maybe I can afford some help, but no. Please make it easier to login (maybe something more persistent) and admit when something isn’t covered. Other apps allow for password managers, my last PBM admitted something wasn’t covered. Everything changed to Navitus because they are “better”, well be better then. These aren’t even drastic changes, just UI discrepancies that also drive your users crazy. Thank you for actually reading this.

Terrible, Don’t waste your life on this app.

This app is terrible. It is so incredibly pointless and not user friendly. Don’t waste your life using it. I want the time I wasted downloading, trying to use this app back.

Not Accurate

This apps states medications are covered when they actually are not covered. When my doctor sends a Rx to the pharmacy, the pharmacy sends me an email saying the drug is not covered. Do not trust this app.
