Terrible performance
When you try to watch a video (news) other videos with commercials overlap. You can’t hear the news. Too many commercials! I’m deleting this app from my phone.

I’m stunned that you just reported 1/2 truths about ab495. You completely left out that that bill applies to ALL students not just children of deported parents. You should actually read legislation you report on and be balanced on your news. Unreal. Shame on you

Too much weather minutae
I found and turned off all but “severe weather alerts from NWS” in your app - but I got 5 notices yesterday, and 8 today, saying “rain will begin in the next x minutes in your area, and continue for several hours”. This is NOT a severe weather alert, and it’s annoying because it was supposed to rain - and has been raining - most of the last 2 days. Time to delete the app for annoyingly frequent stupid weather messages - unless you fix the overkill and understand what “severe weather” means (flooding freeways, high winds would have been a helpful warning tonight - and ONLY that.)

Frustrating
Overall a decent app but a few things are making me want to delete it. This app keeps telling me there are alerts to be viewed when there aren’t any alerts in the app. What it’s really trying to get you to do is watch their 24/7 live news feed. When you watch the live news the alerts go away. Then immediately return when you leave the live feed. Older stories don’t always get refreshed with current ones and they have a section in Spanish without english versions. English speakers would like to know what is going on in Mexico and in the community too.

Everyday your app is the first one I read. Super informative and the events in the news are very well categorized. Thank you for keeping this human and many others informed👍🏼
New App is Dreadful
Local news is full of everything but local news. Live streaming the local news broadcast seems to work, but there’s no longer a way to tell when it’s going to be on since it’s constantly pre-empted. Very disappointing upgrade.
Fix portrait mode

Great app!
I have older iPads and can't update the iOS versions above 11 which inhibits my use of many apps. This app allows me to get all the news and information I need, thank you!
Good content, inconsistent presentation
NBC7 is my go-to San Diego news source, but this app is wildly inconsistent with technical issues. Audio levels are all over the place between live broadcasts (low), commercials (loud), and stringer video (really loud). No one seems to pay attention to the Weather page, which frequently has wrong dates in the sidebar forecasts. Today is Thursday Nov 25th, but they have it listed as Nov 24 (this happens frequently) and in fact the entire 10-day list of days and dates is wrong, off by one day. Videos sometimes take forever to load. I love the content, but the attention to detail is frustrating. Thank god it’s free!

Tired of traffic video
Tis obvious no one at the station looks at or monitors the app. For several weeks now, app jumps to what appears to be border traffic video. Has made this app unusable?
obtrusive full-screen border crossing pop-ups
Okay for local news, but the app is cluttered, the ads before videos can be very long, and worst of all, the pop-up full-screen border crossing live cams. Extremely obtrusive. I’ve been hoping/waiting for an update to fix this issue because I can’t imagine for a single second that this was an intentional design feature.

Advertising area too sensitive!!!
This was my number news app for SD news 🥺… redesign makes the advertising area so sensitive that if you even scroll by an advert it immediately opens a new web browser or launches the App Store 😡. Extremely annoying and makes the news app useless 👎🏼. Please fix it 🙏🏼
Stop auto playing the border traffic videos
STOP AUTO PLAYING THE BORDER TRAFFIC VIDEOS!!!!!!! If I wanted to watch them, than I would click on them!
