Nonstop Olympics alerts
This is a news app. I want news alerts, not Olympics updates. There used to be a spot to turn off Olympics updates but it no longer worked. Then the app updated and I can’t find the setting. I don’t care about the Olympics, stop sending me Olympics alerts! Oh and stop showing ads before a video when I click on an alert…I’m not going to watch it, I’ll just close the app.

Cannot edit weather locations
Ever since the last few updates, I can no longer edit my locations. Solution- delete and reinstall. Annoying! Please fix.

Does not rotate to landscape
Love the app, however, it is a problem for me on my iPad because it no longer rotates to landscape - with my iPad attached to a Smart Keyboard I am unable to watch or view correctly without removing my iPad attached- it is an annoying problem for me
App Does Not Adjust to Landscape Orientation on iPad
With the app open, if you rotate your iPad from portrait orientation to landscape orientation, the app remains in portrait orientation.
Portrait Orientation lock in Control Center is off (orientation is not locked).

update does not work in Landscape
The new update does not work in Landscape on the iPad. Not sure why they made an update for an iPhone and dint think about rotational screens.
STOP THE ADS
A :30 second Gold’s Gym ad before I can get urgent updates on my community is criminal.
I rely on this app because it works great, but I will find other means to get local news before I watch the ads.

Cannot Rotate With IPad
Latest version will not rotate into “landscape” mode when viewing on IPad. Previous versions did so.

Great when it works
Update. Since I wrote original review nothing has improved. It gets stuck on some video you can’t close to save your life. Only solution is to delete the app and then go back to App Store and start all over. -Orig review: Great app when it works but it is very likely it will get stuck on the live feed if your double tasking and never reset. The wheel spins on the live feed overnight and when I wake up, I have to delete the app and download again to have it reset

Fix the notifications!
Since the last update, it constantly shows I have a notification and it turns out it’s the 24/7 tab. I just want it to go away. I know it’s there. For the love of Zeus, make it go away.
High Notification Numbers on App
Version 8.1.1 of this app seems a little buggy.
For the last week or so, the number of notifications listed on the app (the red number displayed above the app icon) has been unusually high.
About an hour ago, it said I had 500+ notifications. I went into the app, went to the alerts tab to “clear” the number as always. I check again 30 minutes later, and it says there are now 1000+ notifications. I haven’t changed any of my notification settings in the app recently.
This may have started after the most recent iOS update to 18.3.2 . App is up to date (ver 8.1.1). A family member who also uses the app is having the same issue.

Thank you for your feedback. We've worked with our team to resolve this issue. To fix it, please follow these steps: 1.) Open the app where the badge count appears high. 2.) Tap the "Alerts" tab at the top of the home screen to reset the alert count. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, we hope these steps are helpful and consider updating your review.

Earthquake setting in Overlays missing!
Was able to get it in Overlay setting. I miss this feature!
Still broken
Please fix the edit button. No longer works after the second to the last update. I have to delete the app then redownload to remove the cities I no longer want.
Had to download app to watch 18 second video
I had to download this app, just to watch an 18 second video. NBC 4 LA doesn’t even allow you to view it in a browser, this is absurd.

I learned something today
What I learned was how you suppress peoples comments and you silence peoples opinions on your articles and videos. This is what created MAGA. You take away my freedom of expression because you guys do terrible reporting. If you’re going to purposefully give us the wrong information, and someone suggests to you it’s not the way you say it, you instead delete the comments and shadow ban people to silence them. You are what’s wrong with America.

Does a great job with the weather. Very nice person and presentation. My only complaint is that he “didn’t get the memo” that brown shoes are out, black shoes are in and should never have left.
Constantly bumping me out!
All I’m trying to do is watch the local news at 5:00, but I am constantly bumped to “The Rundown”. This happens 10 times an hour. This is the only app that does this. So annoying!
