Charged for “free trial”
I downloaded this app to be able to study for the exam when away from my computer (I have a different exam prep subscription that I use on my computer). I signed up for the “free trial” (because you can’t use the app at all until you do) and was immediately charged the $7.99 weekly subscription price. Also, in-app purchases section lists a $19.99 yearly subscription but no such option is available in app. I would gladly pay $19.99 for a year but $7.99/week is outrageous - that’s over $400/year! 🙄.

Charged for “Free” Trial
I downloaded this app and several other NCMHCE study apps on July 29 to see which I liked the most before proceeding with a purchase. Didn’t really care for this one’s format/questions so I cancelled the trial the same day I downloaded the app. On July 31 I recieved a notification that I was charged $7.99 despite having already cancelled the trial. It hasn't even been a week since I downloaded the app so even if I hadn’t cancelled that same day there is no reason I should have been charged on 07/31 as that was less than 48hours after I started the “free” 1-week trial.

Seems helpful but the flash cards do not work.
Bad app
This app does not provide counseling exam review questions. The practice flash cards are a mix of social work, counseling, speech therapy and ear nose and throat medical information. It’s a complete scam. I signed up for the free trial and cancelled the same day. DO NOT GET THIS APP!! It is a complete scam

Incorrect app & doesn’t work
Consistently scores the percentages wrong (18/20 equals 67%???). Does not save flagged / missed questions. Most problematic issue is over 70% of the flashcards are for nursing or an audiologist. The NCMHCE is for mental health counselors, not audiologists. Complete waste of money.
